Killer Mike really says it best. CNN is the cause for a lot of this hate and anger. People are starting to realize just how much hate these media outlets put out and finally people are tired of it! I don't agree with everything this dude represents, but I agree 100% with what he says about CNN.

All of the officers involved were fired and the former cop that killed Floyd was arrested and charged with murder. Yet the rioting continues while many in the media are actually reluctant to call them rioters.

This isn't like 1992 with the Rodney King riots where you wouldn't hear the news until you were in front of a TV, many of these people have phones and should know that the cop was arrested. CNN was one of their biggest allies and they got trashed.

As the party of science has the Democratic party surveyed the violent rioters to determine their political viewpoint and their views on race? CNN didn't encourage the riots. The riots originated from protests of George Floyd's death. I see zero indication or data showing otherwise. I would need proof of such a wild claim.

As far as I know there are no interviews with the people rioting so I can't prove that's why they did it other than there's a lot stronger language coming out of CNN flaming the flames of hatred than out of Sarah Palin when she just put a target on areas they were focusing on and that didn't stop the fake news from blaming her for violence. CNN is much more liable than she was.

They hardly just report these days. They are very active and political, Just like they all do. It's fairly obvious who they support and who they don't. Like, they didn't really support the Sanders wing, but the Obama/Biden wing.

Yeah, after they laid off a big chunk of their journalists, they doubled down on talking head content. However, CNN has always been trying to be the "centrist" network, always trying to find the middle ground between the left and the right (to very much a fault, making them mostly useless for getting useful information on a topic because they rise up less valid opinions against actual fact, like when they give equal time to a climate change denier than they do to a scientist, just so that they can call themselves centrist). However, since centrist is still to the left of the right, conservatives will call them a leftist network; even though they are far from that.

Justice might have been served (we shall see, we probably have months before the court case takes place, and even then there is a chance he will get away with it), but the reckoning still needs to occur.

This is not just about a dead black man, this is not just about police brutality. It's about society being OK with mistreating a certain part of the population to maintain tranquility and the status quo. For decades.

Shit needs to change, or we will just keep seeing things like this happen again and again and again and again. The US is the best country in the world but some of the stuff we still tolerate and do just blows my mind at times.

I don't like seeing people hurt and killed, but the protests should continue.
