Poll If Trump coluded with Russia, are Republicans traitors? (36 votes)

Yes 50%
No 36%
Maybe 14%

So as we all know. Things are getting goood. Trumps closest people like his chief of staff (seriously) just resigned. Cohen, Manafort, Flynn have pleaded guilty... It's absolute chaos right now.

The question. Something happened with Trump and Russia, it's obvious now. Though the Mueller investigation, which federal prosecutors have blamed that Trump is indeed guilty is still under investigation

If all holds true and Trump did indeed colludeed with Russians. What does this say about republicans? Who have supported a traitor of a president?

I think it's too late.

It' obvious that the Russians control Trump and the Republican party. The American Empire has fallen.

I would suggest learning to speak Russian instead.

I don't much consider those who support Trump as Americans right now. They sit by and cheer as he insults our veterans, demeans our institutions, takes the words of foreign governments over our own intelligence agencies, and shits all over our alliances. They're effectively traitors to all the values we should embrace while embracing everything we should reject.

I think they're going to ask him not to run for a second term. I don't think they will impeach him, but I am willing to bet they're going to get enough stuff on him in time or before the election and they're going to ask him to step down or something...I don't know.

What I am secretly hoping for is that the GOP is secretly plotting to do the above, sort of so they can have their cake and eat it too; on the surface, support Trump while making sure things don't go too crazy, while underneath the surface making deals and plotting to remove him from office while not losing face.

I mean Trump could literally just say "This job is bullshit I don't want a second term I just want to go run my empire and golf" and people would be like "OK", no questions asked.

This is pretty much how I feel. As for the GOP as a whole, with McCain and Bush Sr. passing on, I think they are out of positive role models. There are a few good ones left, but for the most part they are either A.) toeing the line, B.) passively or unwittingly being an accessory to terrible things, and/or C.) actively undermining the United States of America.

There's nothing inherently wrong with traditional, conservative, Republican values. Fiscal responsibility, strong borders, emphasis on domestic manufacturing, and all that stuff. I don't personally agree with a lot of their views and goals, but that doesn't make it wrong.

But the modern GOP are nothing but RINO's (Republicans In Name Only), and are far from what I consider true Americans.

@MirkoS77: You ever think why people support Trump? Although I certainly don't agree with everything he does it's far better then the alternative. A left wing government that wants to embrace globalism, open boarders and Democratic socialism. These are threats that are far more dangerous then Trump.

Say what you will about respective policy and ideology, I for one would much sooner have a president that holds true to American values, doesn't cozy up and demonstrate admiration to tyrants and dictators, doesn't constantly insult and degrade the very institutions and its members that constitute the pillars and strength of our democracy, doesn't take every means to so flippantly throw the bird to alliances we've held for many decades, and doesn't side with other governments over our own. I see nothing so evil in globalization, our immigration policy is not "open borders" as you like to try to paint it, and socialism is a laughable stretch.

Hillary would have been a thousand miles better than the "smocking" traitor that is Trump. I honestly sometimes have trouble deciding on whose side this guy is on, and believe he's too much of an impulsive imbecile to even understand himself.

I wouldn't say anyone's a traitor for backing the Trump campaign, more I would say they put there all their chips into a shitty hand that they're getting called on. I'm sure most Republicans are just entrenched in the idea that this is a team sport and you have to back up your coach no matter what. Even when he hates you, and does nothing good for you, and possibly wants both teams to lose equally.

@MirkoS77: Please look at France and Germany and see what the alternative could be. They have embraced the ideology that our leftwing politicians would like to follow. At the end of the day Trump has said some offensive things but the country is still far better off then most. Hillary would have been a nightmare.

And although we may not have an open boarders policy it wasnt far from it. It's nice to see a president actually defend it for once.

If you manage to take back the American Empire, should Trump supporters be sent to re-education camps before being reintegrated into society?

its not all bad actually, free health care, free education and its leader (Putin) is actually a skilled diplomat.

However..some thing creep me out like for example, its illegal to do Yoga? even in your own home?

@LJS9502_basic: It is true. You want free healthcare, free college, increased minimum wage. Those are all left talking points

You would gladly choose to let everyone in the country as opposed to defending the boarder and risking injury on some poor immigrant would you not?

Free? So rather than spend taxes on healthcare.....a necessity we can waste money by increasing the already ballooning military budget? There is no platform for open borders. It's hysterical talking points for those enthused to vote because of FEAR. Have you wondered why trump spent his campaign raining down lies about subjects his base fears? Because the Republican party runs on fear.

@LJS9502_basic: Unless they spend more on health care we will have the shity system Obama put in place where basically any household with a combined income of over 50k a year gets screwed. So how much in taxes do we need to pay before it actually works? And dont leave out the Free college that's a big one

The left wants to abolish all boarder security, allow just about anyone to apply for citizenship and do nothing to actually secure boarder. So although they don't openly campaign for open boarders it's not far from it.

And please the left thrives on Fear. The White supremacist nonsense, comparing Trump to Hitler .. global warming. You guys thrive on that shit.

Healthcare for everyone like all other advanced countries do?

No the left does NOT want to abolish all border security......I assume you're talking about borders. Or don't you like boarders? I mean some people make money taking in boarders.

Democrats don't vote on fear. Republicans do. And you're a perfect example of that with your post above. Oh noes we're going to lose our borders. Oh no socialized medicine. Better to pay way more for medication and have people unable to get healthcare.

a few things

1. in every single 1st world country in which universal health care is applied (which I think is all of them) in every single case, the total cost is cheaper.

2. the intent of a 'progressive' (meaning the lower pay less) approach is that it helps people at the bottom who need the help the most.

now consider this..if you do not make at least 12,000 a year you get..wait for it...ZERO subsidy. ZERO

@LJS9502_basic: I became a private contractor and lost my coaporate subsidized healthcare. I then got a taste of the ACA plans which for me were over $1000 a month with a $6000.00 deductable. No I don't vote on Fear I vote on personal experience.

Voting on Fear is hating Trump because you think hes going to strip all gay people and people of color of their rights. You know the things you constantly bitch about but yet he has done none of these things.

I am fairly confident that Trump striping gay people and colored people their rights is remotely on the top 10 of things people are pissed off about him on.

lets start with Russia and Tarriffs instead.

@blackhairedhero: no they don't. You're confusing corporate America with liberal America. What you stated is not what true liberal americans wants.

You hate democrats for being too pro corporations but qith trump you voted in a guy who was pro tax cut for the rich and the corporate.

You complain aboit democrats wanting open borders, which they never stated or wanted, but you voted in a president who currently has illegal immigrants working in his American hotels.

Kind of hard to have good healthcare when the republicans put up roadblocks. And people like yourself keep them in power.

I don't believe I've ever discussed those topics at all. I'm against trump due to his behavior as president and his less than satisfactory character.

I am telling you that when you watch the liberal news media they almost never talk about identity politics so I have no idea where you are getting this idea that the populous is overly concerned about what he is doing on that front even more so when he has purposed literally ZERO legislation on the matters.

your perception about what the left is concerned about is basically absurd.

The only time it was a topic was for about 1 month during Charlottesville and the take a knee stuff, other than that..crickets. oh which I might add no legislation at all was suggested by Trump, so what the actual F are you talking about?

The problem with getting your information about what the Left cares about ONLY from the Right has left you completely out of touch

also depends on what you mean by 'far left' and how its material to the conversations.

sounds like semantic jerking off to me

go there right now and find a story related to identity poltics (as it relates to Trump) anywhere that is not hidden or very old.

I dare you...it really isnt a topic that the left covers nearly as much as the right tells is sheepish followers...its just not happening

Trump has not suggested any law, any bill, any form of form legal instrument to change anything related to identity politics so there is no reason for those on the left to talk about identity politics as it relates to Trump.

There IS however a lot to talk about Trump as it relates to lying, Russia and tons of legal cases against him, but identity politics of which he has suggested ZERO legislation on would be a waste of time talking about.

If you think otherwise please tell me what legislation Trump is suggesting

@blackhairedhero: You mean the bernie supporters who want a modern day FDR in place who wants better working rights and pay, a shift to clean energy, afford schools and health insurance, better immigration reform, and more corperate regulation?

@blackhairedhero: here's your issue here and why you are braim washed.

I clearly wrote affordable healthcare and school.

Yet you're saying I want free healthcare and school....why are you puttong words in my mouth.

Affordible is not the same thing as free.

Get that in your head.

Affordoble is not the same thing as free.

The line " they want free healthcare and schools" in just a false loe from conservitives and fox news to warp what really wanted.

No one is askong for anything free.
