He then added: “If you’ve got a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or for Trump, then you ain’t black.”

@n64dd: what a dumbass, I'm not the biggest fan of Charlamagne the god, but i gotta give it to him, everytime they bring a high profile Democrat on to do outreach they always do some stupid shit.

Hillary when she went on had her "hot sauce" incident.

Warren looked like a jackass on the show with the pretending to be native american thing

Biden takes the cake tho, like holy shit man, hes really amplifying that democratic plantation narrative with this one lol

I gotta give charlamagne props hes been really good at pulling true real colors out of these politicians. He doesnt pat them on the head like CNN and MSNBC and hes a liberal himself.

Edit: honestly he didn't even press Biden very hard, biden just flopped, sounds angry, upset, and talks in circles, "come on maaan"

No one should be surprised Biden said such a thing.

ugh

How did we end up here? Was there an identifiable action that caused us to go down the get-fucked timeline? Or was it just a lot of little things?

(In this scenario avoiding the get-fucked timeline would mean neither of these clowns are running for president)

Bernie would have been better option, but his ideas are far fetched. I would have supported him if he said he would do one thing, and that's challenge the patent, IP, trademark laws and push for a more fair free market.

Bernie is a smart man though, much smarter than Biden.

Lol, big deal. Trump says something just as bad every day and he's president. That didn't matter in 2016. Just another nothing burger.

Bitch about Trump's so-called "divisive" rhetoric all you want but symptoms of dementia in a presidential candidate is not a nothing burger. Dude is going to end up nuking us by accident if he becomes president.

And you don't need to remind me of the dumb stuff Trump has said, btw. I'm well aware.

I think Trump's handling of covid-19 is exponentially worse than Joe's verbal gaffs. As do many others.

I mean Trump makes more verbal gaffs on top of disastrous policy mistakes.

Indeed, Trump's are larger and more frequent. And of much more important matters.

Very different level.

One can rationalize a preferred candidate due to policies and ideological beliefs but at what point will Democrats take Biden's mental health seriously? And that's a serious question.

There is no moral high ground here, one is senile and the other is not. Not sure about you but that's where I draw the line.

Actually it's impossible to rationalize some of Trump's policies and beliefs. You have to have mental issues or be lying.

Many of them are literally fictional or objectively wrong. That's the problem with him. Unlike Joe, he sometimes enacts these into policy ideas.

There is no moral high ground here. Trump is senile and his policies have cost this country dearly. Not only is he more insane than Biden, but his handling of Covid-19 will be a historical disaster. If Joe was president at least the experts would have been in charge rather than rebuked.

So then what would you say to someone that prefers Trump over Biden for his stance on abortion? Following your logic it sounds like you would assume they have mental issues.

Nice try with the deflection but that article did not cite any examples of Trump being senile. Mentally troubled =/= senile.

Also, you can't prove the statement in bold.

Bad example. I'm talking about stuff like his lies on Climate change, Covid-19, and voting. Just quick examples. Much bigger stuff than silly Joe gaffs (while Trump also has his daily gaffs, but again of much more importance like Covid-19). While also having policy disasters.

Factual stuff. Not ideological. He's a nutcase, over 15,000 lies as well.

I guess I find Trump's mental problems much worse. A very troubled man, I'd take Joe's harmless problems over this.

That's true. It was just an educated guess based off of Obama administration data.

Sadly we'll never truly know if Joe would have handled this as disastrously as Trump.

Despite of me being Black, (light skin) I guess he'd hope all black people to vote Biden since they'd know Trump is...I ain't saying Trump is racist but the majority of Blacks do in the saying.

I hate to say it but this is really bad look for Biden.

Bad example? No, you're just missing the point. You can disagree with the reasoning behind why people would vote for Trump, but people are free to choose how they weigh political issues. Many Americans will want to vote for Trump specifically because they will look at the bigger picture and understand that the economy was booming before the pandemic hit. To you, this pandemic is enough to get Trump out of office. That's how you rationalize your vote for Biden (nothing I see from you is pro-Biden, it's all anti-Trump).

And I don't need a mental health group to tell me something's wrong with the way Trump responds to media, but I'm also not oblivious to the leading and loaded questions he has to field. Biden's braindead gaffes are in zero-pressure situations and on friendly turf. He will be eaten alive once the debates start and it will be hilarious.

I want to say some things but I am worried it might come off as racist (it's not).

I will just say this: Biden is not wrong, even though he probably should not have said what he said because it is ultimately saying "if you look like this, you should do this" and I suppose that is, in fact, wrong.

Do you feel Democrats take black voters for granted? That is sort of the message I got from this.

I don't understand how a lot of people can vote for Trump and/or Republicans. Women, anyone under 40, people of color, anyone two generations or closer to an immigrant relative, etc. because of the wrongs they do against those people, or the lack of effort they put in towards those demographics.

I was talking about factual subjects Trump and his policies ideas are/were dead wrong on. Like climate change or covid-19.

His mental instability is much worse as far as impact is concerned.

@Karnage108 said:

Many Americans will not vote for Trump because of his failure on covid-19, failed foreign policy, failure on climate change, failure on healthcare, failure on immigration (compared to Obama/Biden), and being POTUS while Obama's economy tanked. We are at record lows for the economy, good job Trump!

@Karnage108 said:

More than just that, as noted above.

That's not my only rationalization to vote for Biden. I'm center-left, most of my policy slants are close to his. I'd say the same for most Americans as he will almost certainly win the popular vote at this point.

Sorry I'll listen to the medical experts over you.

Trump has more frequent and more damaging brain-dead gaffs. On top of brain-dead policies with actual effects.

Debates? He can't talk about policy as the GOP got slammed on that in 2018 (and he has no clue what he's ever talking about), I assume he's going to turn it into a 3rd grade play-ground insult slinging contest. All Biden has to do is mention Covid or the Economy.

Yea, dumb comment to make. You think this will cost him any black vote though? Good luck with that. Trump is loathed by the black community. If you think this is going to shift opinion on this particular community you're naive.

Then again I have to remind myself that the OP isn't sincere and a half baked troll to begin with.

Biden is doing a wonderful job at making everyone not want to vote for him. It's like the DNC wants a repeat of 2016 but are going for a new record.

Then again I have to remind myself that the OP isn't sincere and a half baked troll to begin with.

Biden is doing a wonderful job at making everyone not want to vote for him. It's like the DNC wants a repeat of 2016 but are going for a new record.

It was certainly a dumb comment and he could have worded it wildly different. But I don't see this making any dent in the polling.

Hell for Hillary it took those massive FBI announcements and huge Russian leaks. Not a gaff that will be gone by Monday.

Funny to see Trump supporters losing their minds over Biden. They have been terrified of him for months now.

I think people need to start recognizing especially here that the 2016 playbook won't work against biden at all. The majority of americans outside of social media don't care about biden's scandals or gaffes. Trump will have to campaign on his own merits instead of his opponent to have a decent chance of getting reelected. I am happy that biden apologized for the comment earlier.

@super600: Correct. It’s about the policies, and after all of Trumps attacks on our traditions and standards the people won’t care because Trump has groomed themselves to think it’s not important.

Look at your first sentence bolded and underlined. Whataboutism. I understand how you can't abide by your own arguments and tactics, it's the liberal way of life.

I know you saw this line that obliterated you,

You mentioned the 2020 election IN THE TITLE, that automatically makes direct Trump comparisons relevant and acceptable ITT.

I understand how you can't abide by....well....reading. That's a conservative way of life I guess.

So I'll repeat again,

How to lose an election even faster:

I wasn't making any comparison. We're talking about Biden being completely racist. Stay on topic please.

Despite of me being Black, (light skin) I guess he'd hope all black people to vote Biden since they'd know Trump is...I ain't saying Trump is racist but the majority of Blacks do in the saying.

I hate to say it but this is really bad look for Biden.

This is what happens when Dems do not properly vet their candidate.

Biden already has made several racial gaffes. It was known, it should have been considered. This isn't surprising.

And it shows why Trump has an enthusiasm gap advantage over Biden, a record one.

It could work actually. And polling has shown Biden doing poorly with young voters and is also showing a large enthusiasm gap.

Trump has a full range of opposition research to dump on Biden and has a huge campaign finance advantage to do so.

Trump does show red flags and is behind in polling now, but the campaign hasn't really started and as well, Biden shows red flags as well, some not easy to fix.

Your point being? People goof, Oh well. Do you really wanna compare that to what Trump has done on almost a daily basis? Because it's not even freaking close.

@texasgoldrush:

A recent fox news poll shows that the enthusiasm gap is gone now. I don't think people recognize that trump campaigning on biden is bad won't work when he has made a fool of himself every single day since he became president.People are not interested in trump talking about why biden is bad but they want to know how he will govern for their familes and how he will deal with the health and economic crisis currently plauging the US. What will likely happen is biden's and trump's support never shifts much throughout the election and biden ends up winning the PV by 6-8 points.

Bullshit.

Your title mentions the 2020 election, and implies how this forgotten in 3 days gaff will effect it.

I'm telling you this won't have an impact considering the person he is running against for said election. Trump has said and done exponentially worse in this subject, so I do not see your title implications being realistic. If Biden is a racist for this gaff, Trump may as well be the Grand Wizard. Hence your title point being lost.

You make a silly bait title and expect people to not talk about it is a joke.

Most polls show a significant enthusiasm gap, including recent ones. And polls right now are all over the map.

And it seems you are inexperienced in this so let me tell you......and incumbent defining a challenger is key in a re-election, especially in a position such as Trump's.

And for the most part, polls will shift wildly in elections and this one is no exception. The campaign just has not started yet. I have seen candidates up double digits in May lose in November.

The country is divided, he's just saying it like it is. Republicans don't really have a moral high ground here. Lol, Trump is more likely to nuke us than him.

One can rationalize a preferred candidate due to policies and ideological beliefs but at what point will Democrats take Biden's mental health seriously? And that's a serious question.

There is no moral high ground here, one is senile and the other is not. Not sure about you but that's where I draw the line.

we lived through 8 years of bush jr.

i struggle to see how biden is any different.

Biden does seem to have legitimate concerns about his mental acuity, and this cannot be denied.

And do you even know why exactly that this gaffe is pretty bad?

Also Biden claimed to have been endorsed by the NAACP when NAACP doesn't endorse candidates.

I'm glad he at least apologized. Wish POTUS would do that more often, if ever.
