If you can't think of the democrats ever doing this, then you can't say both parties do it. The right wing media may talk about left wing extremism a lot, but as you admitted the democrats have never let an extremist loon run unopposed, while the Republican's can look at a literal Nazi and say "I don't mind him representing us". So obviously the right wing media is talking rubbish while what the left wing media is saying in this case is actually true.

@ruthaford_jive: Everything you just said about the left is wrong. It’s like you live in some small nowhere rural community and have never once spoke to someone outside of it.

Spend more time talking to real people and less time on the internet. That would be my advice.
