Rare for fox news these days to praise anyone but trump. Looks like the state media front they are projecting may be beginning to crack as trump plummets in the polls?

He slipped here and there, but he killed it.

Don't be silly jeezers....

Using fox as a source stops the tRump cults from crying Fake news.

Imagine the right wing extremists in here if I posted the same story from CNN or MSNBC..... it would be all caps lols.

@RedEyedMonster8: Yeah, Wallace is genuinely good at his job. Not even in a backhanded compliment way like, "He's alright compaired to his coworkers". I think he asks good questions in interviews, covers a good range of topics, and gives thoughtfull analysis of them.

fox news is very simple...they say whatever makes their base right wing fanatics happy. They won't support a black president, or a female as a president, but as long as its a white male geezer whos not a socialist, not gay and has christian roots then the right wing will not have any thing to complain about, and instead the narrative goes back to centrist ideals. Joe Biden is a centrist, probably slightly right wing. Hes not gay, black or a female, and hes a christian. There will be many people on the right who have more narrow views on race/sexuality/religion but at the same time feel disgusted by the low bar that is trump, will be tempted to support joe biden.

This is a great example of the disconnect between the left and how Trump supporters really feel.

Most Trump supporters dont care about FOX, MSNBC, CNN. Legacy media is dying. We are tired of these suits telling us lies.

Actually talk to trump supporters... ask them if they like watching Fox and if so... who do they like on there? Most will say they don't like any cable news, if they do give you a name from fox, Tucker Carlson will be the one guy people might vouch for.

The left puts such importance on Fox, as if the only reason Trump has supporters is because of that dang one and only right leaning cable news station. Couldn't be further from the truth. Fox is fake news as is CNN and MSNBC. Legacy media is garbage.

Why is it that the left has forgotten how FOX treated Trump prior to 2016??? They shit on Trump every day. They saw him as a threat to their precious Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney. Hes not a real conservative, hes just trying to help dems. (that was the sentiment at fox) Megan Kelley had to damn switch to MSNBC because of Trumps base lmao. Glen Beck was rolling his face in cheeto dust trying to make fun of Trump.

Then Trump won, shocking all of them. Once it became clear he was president and won as a republican.... the only conservative news channel on cable TV had to accept it. Fox news didn't want Trump, Trumps base did.

I'm probably one of the biggest Trump supporters on this forum, I hate Cable News / Legacy Media. Its catered to the uninformed and boomers. A bunch of corporate talking suits.

Trumps Base could give a shit less about any of the cable news lol Thats the disconnect, liberals in thier disdain for trumps "Fake News" sentiment...... still highly value the likes of CNN and MSNBC....

Much of Trumps base abandoned legacy media a while ago... especially Cable TV news.

Look at that video zaryia posted by TYT, some crap about how Brian Stelter (the whiny bald gnome) from CNN says Sean Hannity (the fat boomer ken doll) from fox news, doesnt actually like Trump and is tired of his crazy antics. Who cares what these people say or think? seriously? These guys suck. The disconnect is real.

Go back in time with me to 2015. FOX never liked trump, FOX did not make Trump. The left just cant get this for some reason. Trump was the Anti Fox republican running... they hated him lol

This thread went from Fox praises Biden to all media sucks. Ok. And yes, Trump supporters like Fox more than any other and is very popular amongst conservatives. Attacking it here just seems like an attempt to diminish them praising Biden.

Biden stumbles a bit, but overall did rather well. Can we focus on that and if Fox saying good things might help him?

well actually I still support trump and want him to win. I want him to trash biden hard, so hard that the establishment gets a black eye. Aside from the craziness, trump and his policies are not that different from bidens. If thats the case, whats the point in even voting for a democrat. Biden isn't supporting medicare for all, his climate policies are about as weak as trumps. So whats the point, let trump win instead.

Trump has been running an awful campaign so far. He has yet to give a reason to why he deserves to be reelected. He wasted the entire week fearmongering about the democrats on YouTube and other outlets. People want change because the current incumbent is oblivious to their own concerns. Trump is not going to win when biden is leading in all regions of the country and a lot of people have to recognize that.

I will never vote for Trump because he's a pathological liar, racist and a moron he also has a fetish for dictators he wants to be Putin so bad. Biden sucks sure but Trump is a threat to democracy I don't want America to turn into a fascist country it may sound hyperbolic but Trump trying to sabotage the election is proof enough. On a side note Trump is a embarrassment I always lol when his supporters think he's a tough guy he's a draft dodger bunkerboy bitch.

I'm rooting for Trump. Ive been seeing a whole lotta trump signs and flags, havent seen one biden sign yet. I see more faded obama stickers than Biden signs. Trumps not that bad. Left makes him out to be some kinda dictator but its not true.

You're talking about old rich men who, despite their rhetoric, likely find physical fighting to be something only lower class people do. They're more likely to have a blind wine tasting test than throw a punch. One would shit their pants in the middle of it and the other would fall asleep.

@super600: ‘Trump has been running an awful campaign so far’

How? By trashing his opponents? That’s political campaigning 101 my friend.

‘He has yet to give a reason to why he deserves to be reelected.’

He’s given several. Suspiciously, mainstream media completely ignores him...hmm, I wonder why?

‘He wasted the entire week fearmongering about the democrats on YouTube and other outlets.’

Did you watch any of the DNC? That’s all they did about Trump and Republicans. Barely touched on policy or what their plans are if elected.

‘People want change because the current incumbent is oblivious to their own concerns.’

You mean why Trump was elected in the first place?

‘Trump is not going to win when biden is leading in all regions of the country and a lot of people have to recognize that.’

Replace Biden with Hillary and you have ‘16 again. How’d that work out for ya?

@Sevenizz:

Based on current polling there has been a huge swing leftward in the key rustbelt states from 2016 and biden is on route to win almost all of them by a clear margin in November. Based on current polling there has also been a huge swing in the south leftward towards biden to. Unless things change biden likely wins by 9 or more points in November. I have only witnessed two elections ever where the polling error was more than what trump would need to win this election which is a polling error of like 6.5-7 points. In those elections the polls stopped polling a few days before E-Day and failed to capture the late shift in the electorate. That is not going to happen in this election. The level of support trump gets on E-Day will be get close to his current approval rating.

Clinton and Trump was within margin of error in polling most places.

Is the polling only done nationwide, or statewide as well?

  1. His campaign has been bad due to a lack of plans, and positions. Attacking the USPS is all I have seen him do in his political campaigning. And villify political opponents.
  2. List them.
  3. Whataboutism. The DNC could put a lot less focus on Trump, that much I agree with. But they still brought up issues like Climate Change, Racial Tensions, Healthcare, Employment Opportunities, Lifting People Out of Poverty.
  4. He was elected and then not only failed to recitify, but was arguably more corrupt than any previous administration since Nixon, if not even more corrupt than that.
  5. Ever heard of a little thing called Margin of Error?

Edit: And before you try to deflect or do any whataboutism in regards to point 2. https://joebiden.com/joes-vision/ Does Trump have anything even remotedly close to resembling this?

@Maroxad:

Yeah. Trump had a chance of winning in 2016 but he has no chance of winning in November. I have only watched two elections in the last decade were the incumbent government won despite the polls saying they would be easily defeated. The polls in both of these elections was off by 10 points in terms of the final margin. The incumbents in these elections won by more than 5 points.

Both of these elections occurred on the provincial level in Canada and pollsters struggle at times to poll provincial elections in Canada. US pollsters are typically better than pollsters in Canada so I don’t expect trump to defy the pollsters and beat biden this time. Hilary’s margin in the PV was only 1 point lower than projected. The state polls were off by a bit but were mostly within the margin of error

@Sevenizz: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/ 1/4 chance for Trump to win.

Clinton won the popular vote, but lost due to less than 100k votes in swing states.

although the election hasn't happened yet, had it not been for this pandemic, trumps victory in the coming election would have been much more sure than it is now. People don't realize but trump is more popular than people give him credit for. He was popular among a large variety of demographics for many different reasons. There were and are many who despise him, many who love him, and many inbetween. On the balance of things, I feel that trump is a good president, or to be clear hes a president thats good for the country. If not for trump shtting on climate policies, there wouldn't be so much action being taken. His attacks on the courts have brought a lot of attention to the justice system. There has been significant criminal justice reform. His sanctions on the chinese are also a good thing. Another republican like GW Bush would have done things more quietly and behind the scenes, but trump just loves pissing everyone off, and speaks whats on his mind. In a way his government is very transparent. You won't get as much transparency from any other government in the future.

Trump has been running an awful campaign so far. He has yet to give a reason to why he deserves to be reelected. He wasted the entire week fearmongering about the democrats on YouTube and other outlets. People want change because the current incumbent is oblivious to their own concerns. Trump is not going to win when biden is leading in all regions of the country and a lot of people have to recognize that.

although the election hasn't happened yet, had it not been for this pandemic, trumps victory in the coming election would have been much more sure than it is now. Yeah he was so popular he lost the popular vote..........

Not really, no. I suggest you read this,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margin_of_error

Fun Fact: Did you guys know that in Fire Emblem, Nintendo actually messes around with the RNG, because most people dont understand what probability even means.

RNG?

What did you not understand about my post? In polling you always end up with margin of error unless everyone participate. Asking somewhere between 1000-1100 random people gives you a very good idea of what the population will vote. From the link Maroxad gave, a sample size of 1067 gives 3% margin of error. Meaning the final vote could swing 3% in either direction. For comparison it only takes 600 to have 4% margin of error, while you need 2401 for 2% margin of error.

100K votes out of 10 million is only 1%.

From here

Hillary lost Michigan with less than 11K votes out of 4.5 million, or by less than 0.25%. Wisconsin is something like 23K votes out of 2.8 million, 0.82% or so.

Random Number Generator

Basically Nintendo rigged the RNG in the player's favor. Because people see a 80% and then take for granted, that success will be guaranteed. Turns out that a 80% chance will fail one 5th of the time. Meaning that they can and will fail from time to time. And of course, an election where a politician is the favorite, with a 75% chance of winning means, the other candidate still has a shot, and will win 1/4th of the time.

To be more specific. The game following FE6 rolls your hit roll twice, then takes the average. Due to how distributions work. Hit rates above 50 will be get increasingly more accurate while numbers below will get increasingly more accurate. Attacks that have a 30% hit rate will have a very hard time landing, attacks with a 90%+ hit rate will have a very hard time missing.

Trump would have still lost if covid never existed. To many people hated him for him to be reelected. Biden would have won with like 51 or 52 percent of the vote. Now biden likely wins with 54 percent of the vote.

@super600: if Bush could get elected a second term, then trump who had a roaring economy under his belt sure as hell would get elected a second time without the coronavirus. Let's face it, trump is a populist president, he did what the people wanted, and where possible got things done. His words also exposed the extreme PC culture and hypocritical words of the democrats.
