But he's old news.

Free will, most importantly. Theres people which inhibit on that. Those people must be the most unhappy people alive.

they're all just telling you what you want to hear to buy your vote, as bad as those ideas are, they're not going to deliver on them anyway.. his issues were nothing but pissing and moaning about the 1% and demonizing the people who run and operate any kind of business in this country and convincing millions of dead beat college students that "the 1%" are to blame for their problems

@burntbyhellfire: So whats the argument here? that bernie is against small business? Of course he isn't, that guy was likely a plant to make bernie look bad, and failed. If small businesses are hurting, again, blame the giant businesses who bought the government to eliminate ALL FREE MARKET REGULATIONS, and thus, eliminating competition. You right wing bozos hate regulations, but those regulations ensure that the market remains competitive. And Obama CUT taxes on small businesses 7 times during his first term.

The guy was a plant, because if he wasn't, he'd know this shit.

People like Medicare for the most part. I has it's problems but private insurance is such a bureaucratic cluster f*** that Medicare looks good by comparison.

Quality of the VA depends largely on where you live (my dad loves the one near him and he is a lifelong member of the Libertarian Party). But the VA it is a socialized health care system, not a single payer health insurance system like Medicare. There do tend to be more problems with completely socialized systems.

Sorry my dude, but that is like saying you can't be a movie critic unless you've made movies yourself. The guy in the video asked a dumb question, and bernie gave a much more substantive answer. Plus bernie has economic, and business experts that he consults anyways, so your dumb point becomes even dumber. Trump has never had to work a day in his life becuase he was born with a rich mommy and daddy who gave him everything he wanted without question, and all trump ever managed to do, was go bankrupt dozens of times, and screwed people over in the process.

Let me make this perfectly clear, billionaires have no right to exist, because no matter how hard you work in life, you CAN NOT EVER make a billion dollars unless the system is rigged, or you were already born into wealth. That is what you don't get, some things should never be on the free market, such as healthcare, because when you privatize healthcare, guess what is the main priority? You guessed it, profit. And profits will always be prioritized over your life.

really? and what is wrong with companies, who unlike the government actually have to run a successful budget, competing with one another over customers which means being forced to offer lower prices and more benefits over their competitors in order to stay in business? while single entity controlled government health insurance doesnt have to worry about keeping customers or improving services or decreasing costs because they have literally no incentive to do so?

the thing that makes you people look ridiculous is your belief that a bunch of politicians are somehow benevolent, and just because someone owns a business they are somehow the spawn of satan

holy shit youre uninformed.. "billionaires" do not just stick their money in some safe and hang onto it or they'd be losing millions and millions due to inflation alone.. theyre called billionaires because of their net worth of the added value of all their held assets and owned businesses.. in order to become a billionaire you cannot just keep your money under a mattress somewhere but it gets put back into the companies they own in order to expand the reach and effectiveness of that company.. their "billions" are tied up into companies and investments and when those companies expand or those investments become successful it means job growth

Actually, you are mostly wrong. While company assets do add up to quite a lot, there are A LOT of billionaires who do in fact have billions and billions, and keep all their money in safes over seas, and just sit on it, there are just a tiny handful of people who own more than half the entire worlds wealth, Jeff Bezos has over $120 Billion when you add everything up. These people pay nothing in taxes, pay starvation wages, drive people out of there homes, and neighborhoods through gentrification, and receive billions in welfare checks. They are the ultimate scam artists. And no, it most certainly does NOT result in job growth, quite the opposite. You need to educate yourself.

That's a simplistic way of looking at the issue. The wealthy do.....indeed.....get wealthy because of society. And they should contribute to that society. Honestly increasing their taxes a bit isn't going to put them in poverty. But it can ease the burden of the society that is contributing to their comfortable life style.
