We are less than 24 hours from the start to Super Tuesday III. According to Nate Silver's 538 Biden is leading in all the states voting tomorrow?

How do you expect that the COVID-19 situation will affect the vote?

Bernie loses all of them. Illinois and Ohio don't have much polling, but what we do have, Biden is 20-25 points ahead.

Bernie and Biden should do the right thing and tell people not to vote in Ohio and reject the delegates, or figure out some fair compromise since Biden is expected to win.

Edit: I'm cool with voting today but the back and forth decisions will depress turnout heavily.

If your saying that then you should watch this video. Young people will need to social distance themselves too.

I truly believe that Biden will end up losing the general election (I'll absolutely vote for him), but he seems to have the nomination all locked up.

INCUMBENT SACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marie Newman successfully primaries out Dan Lipinski in Illinois. A victory for the Justice Democrats.

https://theintercept.com/2020/03/17/marie-newman-dan-lipinski-illinois-primary-results/

This time, unlike 2018, Newman gets the job done, and has now done something Barack Obama tried but failed to do (fittingly also in Illinois), primary out someone for a House seat.

Biden is on a steep slope towards complete mental breakdown. He won't last the summer. The DNC just want him to seal the deal on the nom, name Hillary Clinton as his VP, and then he can pass into obscurity while she takes over to lose to Trump a second time.

Disagree.

Have healthy non-elderly people for staff, tell people to bring gloves and their own pens, and have ample cleaning supplies. Pretty simple, but the DNC can't even do that.

They spend months planning these things and then Ohio pulls out last minute and postpones for another several months, which is possibly unconstitutional. They will lose a good amount of their delegates over this, and I couldn't care less. They should lose all of them.

stealing? so because Sanders can´t get voters to vote for him, it´s because of "stealing"

You do know that so far he has lost in a very democratic way, by people voting in larger numbers for his opponent then him.

Ya, probably but the funny thing is that after New Hampshire and Iowa, Sanders outspent Biden 2-1 on ads.

So Sanders had every chance to beat Biden, the problem is just that he is socialist, for most Americans.

Nah, Americans like socialist policies. Even among Cuban Democrats in Florida, they voted more for Bernie than Biden yesterday. However, Sanders was courting the youth vote, and they don't vote.

Bernie is done with. He has been since March 10th, Even more so after he lost all 3 states in fairly one-sided fashion. He's already suspended all digital advertising. I'd expect him to drop out before the next set of primaries because he really has no path forward. He would not only have to win the remaining states but dominate in most of them in order to avoid Biden splitting the delegates. The further he drags this out, the worst off he is going to look. It's just a matter of if Bernie can swallow his pride and drop out.

TBH - Bernie showed why he would never be president. He had 4 years to build a coalition, He didn't. As much as he hates the system, He's part of it and you have to be willing to compromise, which is something he isn't capable of doing. I mean Warren was willing to drop out and endorse him if he was willing to name her his VP, it would have been huge for Bernie and really lock together progressive support but he refused and it cost him greatly in a lot of these closer states on Super Tuesday.

Regardless of who you support, You can't help but respect Biden. The Democrats rallied around him, he showed true unity and leadership. He never made any excuses when he was losing and many considered his campaign dead. He never shoved it in Bernie's face when he started winning. Meanwhile, Bernie is holding a press conference listing off the reasons as to why he is losing and it's everyone's fault but his own. So which would you rather have - Someone who can't help but make excuses or someone who takes it on the chin and keeps moving forward?

@Jacanuk: My biggest issue is he wanted to implement changes he couldn't even get done in his own state. So how could I possibly trust him to implement them nationwide? Especially when he's made no attempt at all to try to gain support from fellow politicians. As much as he may not like to admit it, They were elected for a reason and to some voters, their endorsement means a lot.

Doubt the DNC had much to do with her not being there.

@Jacanuk: they actually did, the official rules for being qualified for the debate were changed to keep her out. She met the qualifications, only 1 delegate was required, she had 2 lol they changed it to like 20 delegates right before the debate.

I kinda get it, she had no chance, still think its shitty tho.

Wait, they changed the debate rules? that is pretty shitty of them, especially when Tulsi did have that required delegate.

But I do kinda get it, she would have been there for nothing but rules are rules and should not be changed the last minute

Yeah, the DNCs reasoning for changing the requirements was that the race was evolving, as more states vote the requirements should change as the race evolves.

It does remind me of the debate. Also it´s pretty scaring that we might have a president who will not even finish the term lol.

Trump, Biden and Sanders are older than time.

They are way too old...

"The oldest at the time of leaving office was Ronald Reagan (77 years, 349 days)."

Biden is 77 will be 78 in November..

Bernie is already 78...

RR was the oldest president at 77 and that was when he was leaving... not entering...

Trump is 73, so he would be around biden or bernies age getting out of his 2nd term.

Trump is old too, but next to Biden hes a young whipper snapper. I could see Biden calling Trump a whipper snapper. lmao

I agree there,

There should really be an age limit for entering into office, if you are over 62, you cannot run for any office or government position, not even the supreme court.

Especially the senate and supreme court should be set at 62 for forced retirement.

Hmm, I would think Bernie is in better cognitive shape than Biden, but Trump and Biden in a 1v1 I would pay good money to see that.
