Your PS3 Trophy Cards-thoughts

Are you guys happy with yours? Obviously, there is always room for more.

Personally, I need to earn myself more platinum trophies...GOW 3 will be next.

Bronze ones annoy me a bit, the way they add up so fast. It makes the collection seem unbalanced.

Im just curious how you guys would all like to tweak your trophy cards if you could...besides adding more. For the trophy haters, yea yea worthless bla bla...they are still fun to earn/collect for just playing the game....thus creating a by-hobby of games...trophy collecting.

I think 4 platinums for the amount of total trophies i have isn't too bad.

I want to increase their number though so i don't reach 1000 trophies and still only have 4.

I'm happy at the moment with my 8 platinums, and I'll hopefully get a 9th soon in Dante's Inferno :)

Mine is OK but I really want to get more Multiplayer trophies to boost up Platinum.
Stuff like RE5 and GTA IV i could get Platinum if i could the get the outstanding multiplayer ones. Red Dead will be the same i expect.

At least i have the GTAIV & Red Dead 'Killed a Rockstar' Multiplayer Trophy so i'm happy!

outside of that, 700 trophies, and 4 platinums i think is OK. considering i don't really care about trophies (apart from InFamous, i did purposly revisit it with the intention of getting the platinum)

I think everyone wants more plat trophies. Um, i'd like at least one. Having a ton of lesser trophies vs the higher trophies IS balanced. The plat trophies are meant to be rare, your crowning achievements. If they were similar in quantity to any trophies below it, that'd reduce their significance.

I like this whole trophy business. Adds value to the games (would any of you be as committed to turning a game inside out if they didn't earn trophies?) and proof of your accomplishments (because everyone, even the most humble, likes to show off a little sometimes).

On a somewhat different note, anyone know how long it takes trophies to register on these online cards? I manually refreshed mine today (cuz i didn't pay for the premium service) but it didn't include any of my Burnout Paradise trophies. Considering i just earned those early this morning, i'm assuming servers need more time to sync up, just wondering the timeframe.

I'm happy with mine I guess, the MW2 Platinum is an easy one so I'd go for it guys.

Well, I agree with you overall especially on the Rockstar games, but just a small correction. RE5 does not actually have any required multiplayer trophies. Any MP trophies you might see on the list were added in DLC or patched (i forget), so similar to Uncharter 2, they are not required for platinum.

On topic, I have been enjoying going for platinums lately. The only really iritating games that often stop me are the ones that require excessive multiplayer hours. I know there is some controversy on platinums on this forum, but I view it as a personal challenge and if I can feel I have really "completed" a game. My opinion is if you are getting platinums just to impress people, you are wasting your time. People are not impressed by your platinums, but if you are getting enjoyment or satisfaction from "trophy hunting" then its all good! :D
