Wow, what a let down

Socom is one of the worst games ive played all this gen. When it works it is bad, which is rare. I can play for around 2 hrs only getting in about 15 minutes of game time. I went 28 an 11 the first time playin, though wow this is fun. only to be shot down over the next 3 days. Ign just through it a 4.5, imma get rid of it asap hopefully get some money back...

Put me down as somebody who loves the new Socom much more than COD 4. The servers are getting better, especially with the patch, and the tactical gameplay is all I've ever wanted.

It's not as naturally fun as Socom 2, but it's close enough to make me consider not buying COD: WAW.

Wow that sucks man. I have no troubles on my end when playing and i think the game is great. If you liked SOCOM on the PS2 then you will most likely like this game. Im guessing alot of the people picking up the game now are expecting/looking for the bad things, that have been mentioned many times over and over again, and not trying to enjoy the game. This is the best online tactical/teambased shooter out IMO. I hope things work out for you, the way i see it is i payed $10 for SOCOM and the rest for the great headset, so i dont feel like ive been ripped off at all as i really enjoy the game.

Its working fne now, haven't had any problems this week, why people insist on continually bashing it, when there are so many other great games coming out/ out is beyond me, go play something else or buy it and stfu

during the beta everyone said they had problems but i never lagged or disconnected, and i have wirless internet.

Some people are just hating. The servers are working fine now and have been since the second week. If you can't play then it something you are doing and nott he game. It's fun and works fine. Face it people just want to hate and are never going to change their mind so stop worrying. mfarris2006

Even If the servers were working perfectly, the game was just put together horribly, for dithiching single player, using some old maps, and no trphies you would think the game would play much better

counter strike is far from tacticle........ and it beats the unrealisticness of CoD4Nick3306

If you are playing in PUBS (public servers) then sure CS isnt tacticle.

Now, I have personally played in CAL, the cyber athletic league for CS like 6 years ago. Played in Cal IM and we made the championship finals for that game. To say that Counter strike is NOT tactical...well, clearly you have never taken part in league play. CS was one of the most tactical 5 on 5 games. All the fakes, coordinating of smoks, fbs, learning different positions on defense..

the most tacticle game i have played so far is by far Americas Army (mad by the U.S. army themselvs) it takes lots of teamwork for tournament play. And its free to download!.Nick3306
