I was over at a friends house the other night wowing them with my latest tech purchase, the PS3 and at some point he remembered he had a blue-tooth camera phone.  We tried for a bit to get the two to link up but never could.  Does this work or is the BT functionality just limited to game stuff?

I don't believe mobile phones can connect to PS3 ...

KB/M - Headsets - BD remotes - Controllers - PSP - etc.  all work but i can see a phone working yet

It was not a big deal, it was more of a "Hey this is a Bluetooth phone and the PS3 is Bluetooth, lets see if we can transfer pictures, just for the heck of it" moment.

There was a thing on the PS3 called REGISTER BLUETOOTH DEVICE and the list had CAMARA, wonder if that would work for a camara phone :)

i think its mostly for control devices and headsets... maybe in a system update they will have file transfer capability?
