Why no love for PS3????

Im a huge fan of L4D. I have both for my 360 but would love to see them come to PS3 with extra content and better graphics. Why no love for PS3?? I would totally buy them both again.

Anyone know of any games out OR coming out that are zombie killing games? And nothing like zombies in COD or anything, I mean the read deal..:)

Im not expecting much from it. I played the demo of the one for 360 when it came out. Had full intension to buy it, but there were so many complaints about the same system that is cared me away from it. It got great reviews from people except the saving..

MAYBE the 2nd one will deliver the goods??

I agree with you. Sadly, this issue is always going to be around, and not even just Valve. There are always going to be those who want to develop certain games for certain or all systems.

Vavle loves ATI and they arent very good at porting, so how exactly do u propose they make the games with better graphics JUST for the ps3 when the general rule of thumb is that multi console games look better on 360 (Bayonetta, Resident Evil 5, Turok, etc). Only way to make it look better on the PS3 is a complete rebuild which isnt worth their time i am sorry.

I think dead rising 2 is coming out on the ps3 and there is also resident evil 5 on the ps3.

It would be great if Left 4 Dead came to PS3

L4D sucks. It's a game I simply do not care for in favor of much better games.

Valve only will develop for Microsoft I don't care much for Left 4 Dead. But some companies who are independently owned only develop for Sony like Sucker Punch Productions and Insomniac Games.

People say that Valve hates the PS3, but that's not 100% true. I've heard some of the game developers there would actually be interested in it. However, Gabe Newell (who pretty much IS Valve) will not have it. He basically refuses to even acknowledge that the PS3 exists. Kind of sad really since Valve is one of my all time favorite dev teams :(

man for me this is a pain that will never heal i used to have the xbox 360 and L4D was the last game i played on it coz it soon crashed i then got a ps3 later on in the year and i love sony they are awesome i have always had a PlayStation (when the ps3 came out it was so much money that i couldn't afford it so i got an xbox 360 thats the reason i had the 360 before the ps3) and i have a big craving for L4D and i would do anything to get it on the ps3 but sadly i do not see it happening :cry:

I don't think we will get any kind of good zombie shooting type of game for PS3 in a while. Maybe, if valve finally does decide to bring L4D over. Well, that would be good.

Valve has the worst graphics engine next to Bethesda. Who cares. Valve suck anyway the only decent game they made was TF2. All their other games are bad, especially the nintendo 64 graphics.

Think it mostly stems from the hard time Valve had porting Orange Box to the PS3. It took them more time and resources than the 360, and still ended up with technical issues that the other versions didn't have.

Other companies that release multiplats usually develop the versions simaltaniously across all platforms and don't run into problems. Valve on the other hand has always been primarily a developer for PC. They build their games for the PC then decide to port it. The jump from a PC game to a 360 game is not much of a step, however from PC to PS3 on the other hand takes considerably more time and resources...and in this case they are probably figuring it's not worth their time and money to port it.

well i hear sony london and media molecule are developing two different titles. lets hope one of them is a L4D killer.
