I am a PS plus member and have 24 GBs of available space. SSF4:AE is 17.9 GBs. It says there is not enough space on my harddrive. Anyone know why?

I know the PS3 tries to save that last 10GB, I've been there. I remember before I upgraded my two PS3 HDDs to 1TB and 500GB, I used to run into that problem.

A friend of mine with a 120GB HDD said he had to delete some old installs of games he sold, which got him over 35-40GB of free space, and he then could DL the SSF4:AE game. He said when he was at 27GB, he couldn't DL SSF4 : AE, so he deleted demos, high resolution pictures, movies, music, and especially old installs to get to 40GB.

Some games like Enslaved have 3-4GB installs, just sitting there waiting to be deleted.

Wow it requires that much space? That's one thing that holds me from getting plus, I only have 40 gigs left.

Upgrading the HDD is easy and cheaper than you may think. Check out Youtube for details.

Becuz the truth is, if a game is 10 gb, it will actually be 20gb. Whatever size the game is, its will take double the space becuz it has to be installed. Happened to me when I had a 40gb and wanted to play Infamous 2. The game as 14gb so I made same for it, turns out I needed 28gb.
