Who's Better? Cloud Strife (FF-7) or Tidus (FF-X)?

Well i mean cloud was a whiny little emo punk. i love his character though it was so complex and deep. gave me reason to play more and find out why he was that way, etc etc. FF7 was a superior title imo

i couldnt even get 10 hours into ffX and i thought tidus was gay i swear

why isn't this a poll?

anyway, as much as i love Final Fantasy VII and Cloud, which is actually in my top 5... no, top 3... heck, top 2 favorite games of all time... Final Fantasy X, along with Tidus, is my number 1.
Cloud to me, was too much of a jerk. he was cool and mysterious, but he was also a bit of a dick, especially to Aerith, and even if Tidus was a tad bit whiny at times, i still feel i relate to him so much more.
we all want to a cool bad-ass like Dante from Devil May Cry, or the lone-wolf hero like Snake, and some people think they're Cloud... but when i played Final Fantasy X, i thought "WOW! Tidus isn't LIKE me, he IS me!" and the story was just SO good, and that tear-jerker of an ending... Tidus and FFX will always hold a special place in my heart. so yeah, my vote goes to Tidus!

As much as I love FFX, I recommend against saying you are Tidus. Unless your boat is blown by a different breeze from the rest of us, then its ok.

Yeah, well, it's not easy to decide between two softies. Didn't like those two main characters, always enjoyed others like Cid or Auron much more. Anyway, between those two, I'd select Tidus, he got at least the balls to kiss Yuna xD ut maybe I just have some probs with clouds psyche
