Who still has and plays their PS2?

@ Hi guys I'm quite curious to know if any of you still have your ps2 consoles and if you still play games on them...it's been a year since the last PS2 game came out so...who still plays on it? I have two of them...the normal one has a FreemcBoot memory card to play backups and the other one is a P Chassis model which is quite great at playing a few scratched discs I got from a second hand video game store...both are slim consoles...I currently have 250 PS2 games...still looking to collect all of them one day...so drop by in the comments section and tell me what you have and what your currently playing as well as your favourite PS2 game...my favourite PS2 games are:

I still game on my PS2s. In fact, I was playing the PS2 the other day (Spyhunter).

I still have and play in my PS2 fat. Actually yesterday I was playing Sega Bass Fishing Duel.

Still have it, don't play it often though. I have a lot of games that I never finished. Dragon Quest 8 needs a replay soon, a work of art that one.

I'm fortunate enough to have an original fat that still works! I still enjoy, playing the timesplitter and tekken series. I also like playing NFL 2k, Soul Caliber and Snake Eater.

I do sometimes. Got 100% on bully not too long ago. I have 3 PS2's, one of them a fat from 2000 launch that still works! But it would be nice if PS4 had PS2 bc...

I've got two ps2. A fat one that won't work, and slim one I played silent hill 2 on few months back.

I still have my PlayStation 2 consoles. I have a phat 5000 series. A silver PS2 slimline 7000 series and a PS2 Black slimine 9000 series and I have 155 PS2 games. Yep I still play PS2 games even in 2014. Even though I have PS3 and PS4.

So with 157.4 million PlayStation 2 consoles sold during the years of 2000 - 2013 Sony's PS2 is the king of console sales.

I sold my phat one last year. Never played it. Kept all the games tho.

I have a fat one. Like the one I used to have back in the day. I played it just last week I think it was. Me and my kid played Lego indiana Jones on it. I have a butt ton of games for it still. Just dont play it too often

I have 3 PS2s and lots of games.. still play every now and then, will play more often one of these days.

Yeah got 1 but I play CTR on PSOne more.

I got have it, but i mostly play HD version of pS2 games on PS3, or downloaded PS 2 titles on PS3.

I had a PS2 when i was in college, and really didn't have much time to get into it. I played some GTA vice city (Why i bought the system) WWE games, Simpsons hit and run, Live and a few others. So i missed a lot of classic PS2 games (God of War, Shadow of the COllosus, GTA 3, san Andreas) So when i got the ps3, i started getting the collections Ratchett, Jax, Tomb Rainer, etc to catch up. IN reality, it just created a monster backlog for me. But GOW and Shadow are incredible games, which will likely be timeless classics.

I wish I could say all the time, but my ps2 is no longer working.

But the amount of awesome games on the ps2 is sublime.

Thank goodness for Hd remakes though. Devil may cry 3, final fantasy x and shadow of the colossus, and metal gear solid.

I have 2 Fat PS2's. I play PS2 when I feel like playing some of the old Ace Combat games.

isn't it so funny how no matter how powerful the ps3 and ps4 were. CTR is STILL the funnest racing games on any Playstation console ever. (burnout a close 2nd, in my opinion anyways)

Still fire up my original fat PS2 once in a while. It's mostly a Ratchet and Clank and Guitar Hero machine at this point for me, because I'm actually playing original PS1 games more these days and those I just run through my PS3 :-) Great system, though - I still remember the excitement of first firing it up.

I still break out my PS2 every now and then when I feel like a little Tourist Trophy.

I still have my PS2 just like I still have my PS and I do have PS3. The only game that I still play from time to time is Mega Man collection and Mega Man X collection. I still have Okami, FFX, FFXII, FFX-2, MK Deception, MK Shaolin Monks, GTA Vice City and San Andreas ( that I really hate but couldn't return it because I have the stupid ass mini sex game that make that game 18+ ) I have RE4, Devil May Cry trilogy.

Yes, I have a slim silver that I bought at Goodwill to relace the phat I sold several years ago. I had a backward compatible PS3, but relaced it with a super slim, because it ran hot and noisey. I still love to play Silent Hill 2 and 3, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Mark of Kri, and others on it. The PS2 is a treasure. Best game console (and game library) ever made.

I still have my PS2. The last time I played it regularly (FIFA) was back in 2011 when I decided to stick with the PS3 fulltime. I was going to donate it. But, I decided to keep it because we still have one CRT TV left (in the guest bedroom).

I have a copy of Dragon Quest 8 lying unplayed but no PS2 as i had sold it without realizing i have yet to play this gem of a an rpg. Considering whether to buy a used ps2 or just download the Android version which sadly has no voice acting and cutscenes?

I still play PS2 games, but not on my PS2. They look much better with 4x resolution.

Still have it & in great condition, however about 4 years ago I stopped using it & started playing my PS2 games on my 60GB PS3. Unfortunately my PS3 stopped working due to the YLOD so I had to buy the new model which does not support PS2 games.

PC, Gamecube, and PS2. I stopped caring about new console releases last generation. There's only one or two of them that I'm interested in and can't play on Steam anyway.

I have a backwards compatible PS3 that I still play PS2 games on. Just bought Motorstorm: Arctic Edge recently and have been enjoying that. Also still play Gamecube games on my Wii.

still have mine and use it alot. I play through Silent Hill 2 regulary because the HD collection wasnt that good

I'm playing it now, i'm playing the sonic collection plus, i'm trying to unlock sonic 3 and knuckles, but can't seem to do it :(, i think my game is broken. I've been on google and i've done what people said, i've lost count of how many time's i've played it, quit etc over and over again be it on main screen, SEGA name pop up or actual game play footage on both Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I seriously am beginning to think my game is broken when it comes to the unlockable :(.

I do. I never get rid of my older systems. I have every system I have ever owned all the way back to my Atari 2600.
