Who is a good starter character for a newcomer to BlazBlue?

I just got the game today and would like to know who is a good character to begin with.

I'd say Ragna or Jin. Jin is who I'm best with but Ragna isn't hard to learn either imo...

choose one of the Shoto Clones (aka those that play like Ryu from Street Fighter which would be Ragna and Jin.) Although Noel is very noob friendly.

ragna for sure. He does high damage with only a moderate amount of execution required same with Jin.
