I'll play just about any demo for just about anything. So any new demo would be nice right about now. there's only so many times I can play the NGS demo, especially since it's just the first level, which is boring as all get out. That's right, I said boring as all get out.
I think this type of game should get a demo, I think it would really help it alot. I surely can't wait for a demo, Sony doesn't seem to release nearly as many demoson PSNas the 360 does on Xbox Live....that really needs to change.
It really isn't up to just SONY. even if it is a first party title, the people developing it probably aren't REQUIRED to release a demo. On a game like lair, it would help get people amped, and help sales, but if they're busy, slapping a demo together is the least of their worries ATM.
This is true. They'd have to pull people away from creating the actual game just to create the demo. However, and I think I said this once before somewhere, I see nothing stopping them from using the demos presented at Gamer's day. Those are already made and supposedly running on PS3's at the show so....
im not holding my breath with the lair demo. we havent gotten anything worth our time yet on the PS Store so why should that change now? im guessing it'll be some stupid trailers of movies that i'll never watch and then maybe another MLB 07 tutorial. Ah i can hardly wait.... /sarcasm.
yea the 360 gets wayyyyy more stuff than psn and its kinda starting to get to me. I mean theres a lack of must haves for the system as of now, the least they could do is give us some better updates on the store. It sux waiting a whole week in anticipation for the new psn store relase only to find out its a trailer i've seen a thousand times

It's businesses. Microsoft and third party game developers will do anything to get people excited over games no matter how bad they are.

Not all hope is lost, considering the demo is confirmed for this month.
Damn, I'm excited! I meant demo, not Lair, the whole game. I thought we wouldn't see the demo for another month and a half.
it won't come out this week because we want it to... and sony seems to be against what we want lately. but maybe they'll make a turn around in the PSN and actually give us something we want... who knows.

then how do you explain the fact that we got the ninja gaiden demo so early?... and on the japan store thay have a demo of folksoul and hot shots golf 5, both of which arent coming for a little while. So just because the actual game isnt coming out for another month or 2 doesnt mean we cant get an early demo.

We only got the NG:S demo something like a month before the game is releasing....August is a long time away from now.
But then again I thought it was releasing July 31 and was in a remarkably late stage of development.
A demo for Lair was confirmed by Factor Five. It's also been confirmed for Heavenly Sword and Killzone 2.Redfingers
Only Lair confirmed this month, but what if we got a Heavenly Sword demo soon after, that'd be so freaking cool XD I'm not banking on it though, but as for the Lair demo .. that has to come this week or next.. please Factor 5/Sony :(
