So I have this White PS3. I sent my black 60GB PS3 in to Colorware to have it painted white. They sent i back. After the warranty expired, I closed the Media door shut and this piece just falls off. I lost it and not I have a broken door. What should I do?

Is there any cheap, easy way to fix this?

I swear... This wasn't my fault. I take really good care of my PS3. I had no idea that the door was broken under the paint. When I sent it in, it was in perfect condition.

Locktite glue, um try molding it? Ouch oh well, just hide it under your tv stand and never look at it again.

You could always try to glue the piece that fell off back on with some glue designed to use on plastic.

Then unless you want to mold a piece that fits perfectly with some other type of material, then there's noting to do. That said, It really isn't that bad as the console works like it should still I assume.

It's not so terrible. It's just a little plastic piece. You didn't get the YLOD.

sand the place where it broke for it to look smooth, then break the cover in an similar way on the other side and sand it as well, so it'll look like it's custom

heh j/k, don't do that.

That's a nice looking ps3 you got there. If they damaged it I would make them pay for it.
