Uhh, auto aims the body? :P It's used more often during online play as a last stand sort of thing and is easily accessible with a simple push of the square button. Nice pics in that one thread btw :D
Call of Duty 4 and WAW have online auto-aim. It's not significantly obvious but if you pay attention close enough, it is there and somewhat assists you.

CoD isn't auto aim, its called aim assist. Auto aim actually aims and locks onto targets, CoD's aim assist can get annoying depending on what class you're playing (Sniper as opposed to gunner).

Auto aim actually aims and locks onto targets, CoD's aim assist can get annoying depending on what class you're playing (Sniper as opposed to gunner). it can get so annoying in how it gets you killed T.T trying to aim at someone but it drags onto someone who just ran by a wall who you know you cannot shoot in time...and end up being killed
