Which external disc should I buy?

Hi, I want to buy 2Tb external disc for my PS4, I live in Argentina and everything is more expensive here, so my budget can afford one of this two models. I have a few questions, one is in the poll, which one is better and have better processing speed, 2ndly and most important, is it true that I have to disconnect the disc from the menu every time I'm going to turn off the console? Because I've read before that many people have to do this or otherwise get an error/warning message when they turn it on again about not disconnecting the disc properly or something, and some even have to use the repair tool in the disc, is it true? Does it happen with any of these 2 models? Thank you in advance, and sorry for making it a very long read.
