Gamespot pretty much always reviews the final release builds and allegedly Squeenix has been slow about getting review copies out (which is rarely a sign of confidence in the game)

yeah gamespot is pretty slow, like God of War review came out 2 days after the game came out

(so clearly Ready at dawn does not have confidence in their games) roflol

Allow me to elaborate; other outlets have also been grousing about a delay in getting CC review copies; that, coupled with middling reviews, makes me think that they are trying to keep reviews back as long as possible.
