when you get tired of waiting and then finally decide to buy a ps3, the day after, the price drop will be announced...
Edit:That actually happenned to me when i bought the ps2, but i was like 13 then so didn't really care at the time. I was like YAY MOTHER TEKKEN F***ING TAG!
People should really stop and think about this pricedrop nonsense. First, SONY lost $ on each console sold and are probibly finally starting to see a slight profit. A company selling anything at a loss is a bargin and not gonna happen too often. Ask yourself why after starting to see profits would SONY want to go back to a loss? The PS3 is worth every penny IMO, and I personally don't want to see a price drop.
the ps3 cost just fine for its content and unless u realy realy realy cant get money for it because u cant get a job or ur folks wont pay more than a lower sum like 200$ u dont have any reason to cry about its price. i hate all of those cry babies.."im not paying this sum for a ps3 because it is to expensive for my opinion..." for all of those...get a life ...or a job...
I think the ps3 price is a deal just like it is. A decent blueray is about $199 so you actually paying about $200 for the video game part, then you save$50 cause free online and another $50 if you wanna go wireless cause is built in... ;)
I think SONY isn't going to do a price cut anytime soon. Remenber SONY is losing money for every PS3 they make and I think they don't want to lose more.
I'm actually expecting Sony to drop price on PS3 this summer which could be announced at E3 09' and if all goes well another price drop by Christmas time.
Of course that's only my speculations, I personally spend 699$ on my 60gig and It absolutely warrants the price point.
I believe PlayStation 3 is an investment and as time goes by it only becomes better. ;)
