Whats a good game for someon just buying a ps3?

I have decided to get a ps3 and am wondering what a good game i should get when i go out and buy it but, i do have a xbox 360 as well and do have all the good main titles...i think. if any one who has a ps3 and owns a game that you find yourself playing over and over again for the ps3 post here please :D

I agree. If you can wait, get MGS4 first.

I think Resistance, is your best bet for good Multiplayer! It's more Mature then Warhawk and has alot of Awesome Medals and Awards to work towards bro! It will keep you busy until Resistance 2 comes out! Besides, you want both Resistance, and Resistance 2 in your PS3 collection for sure! There like the Halo's of the PS3 in my Opinion! If your like me and arent too hardcore with gaming and just want some top fun, new idea and top graphix and arent caught up if the game goes for 100 hours (Oblivion) I would get Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Youll appreciate what the PS3 can do, also Heavenley Sword is great too.

GTA IVI own but would get it to rock your world in next gen gaming...

rent what I suggested if unsure.

Since you have an Xbox 360, you probably have most of the great crossplats, but if you don't then you'll want COD4 if you're into multiplayer shooters, Oblivion GOTY Edition if you're into RPGs that take over 100 hours to beat, and GTA IV.

For exclusives, Uncharted was a surprisingly good game... I hated the demo, but it turned out to be a lot of fun and surprisingly replayable... which is good because it was kinda short. Ratchet and Clank was cool... a little easy, but very sharp looking and a fun platformer. I like Hot Shots Golf a lot too, even though I recognize that's not for everybody.

You should also look into UT3. It is great with mods!! Halo maps and it looks like you play Halo.

Warhawk in my opinion is crack. It is f'n addicting. The beginning is like hell though. You will hate it....a lot. The reason is because you are thrown into a multiplayer match without any tutorials or anything like it. MAKE SURE THAT YOU PLAY WITH PEOPLE WITH YOUR OWN RANK!!! You can filter the servers.

I don't own RFOM, but my friend is a die hard fan of it. I found it a bit repetitive but loved the weapons. Never played the multiplayer.

UT3 is fast, and like an arcade shooter. The mods are great.
