What will be the biggest selling exclusive by end of 08 ?

There are plenty of worthy contenders who can achieve the biggest sales by end of 08. They are:

• Killzone 2 - Amazing graphics with great atmosphere plus it's an FPS which is the most poular genre in the West
• Mertal Gear Solid 4 - the most enticipated game on PS3
• LittleBigPlanet - A great innovative game which has user created content plus worldwide appeal
• INfamous - A sleeper hit but looks really promising, it's a sand box game which is highly attractive to western gamers, a mix of psy-ops and GTA
• Final Fantasy 13 - Most enticipated RPG on PS3 and the game which can help PS3 in a major way in Japan
• Gran Turimo 5 - The driving simulator, a game with worldwide appeal

There may be other's also.

I'm voting for Metal Gear. With the amount of effort being put into that game, I think Konami will be the first developer to really show us what a PS3 can do. I don't think we'll be seeing FFXIII in the states until '09, otherwise that would be my voteAsage429

People who are saying GT5 and FF, I TRULY respect you, but c'mon!!

Lets say all of these were indeed coming in 2008, it isn't about which YOU like best, its about marketing, and hype (and well, obviously, quality; for our purposes, all of these are a 9.5). Read message boards all over; I would take a guess that 90% of people who say they bought a PS3 say its for MGS4.

I love all three of those, but my dad is looking at Metal Gear 4, not Final Fantasy. Same for my brothers, and friends who do not own a PS3. They're all hyped about MGS4 (and thinking of buying one just for it) not Gran Turismo's Real Driving Sensations. :lol: It just appeals more to the Mass Market, along with hardcore fans

I agree but I also believe that Killzone 2 also has a shot at getting major sales upon release but thats only if Guirrilla/Sony meets expectations and the game turns out to befantastic, I mean the graphics already look phenomenal I just hope the gameplay is just as good. FPS are getting popular over the years especially in the West.

I'm quite sure that it'll be MGS 4, every body want to know how the story continues and I think that gameplay and graphics will be ones of the best of all games. But I must say that GT has a superb grafic too

I can't believe people hype Metal Gear so much. It's a very niche game. The past 3 haven't exactly sold Halo like numbers why would number 4 be any different.nosedive51

MGS2 has sold over 7 million and MGS3 has sold over 4 million, now combine these numbers and thats how much MGS4 will sell by end of 08 :D

FF XIII will be the best, followed by MGS4, then in 3rd will be GT5gordjt

GTA4 will do very good, but the series sucks in my opinion.

i think that the biggest eller will be either

MGS4: Because it's the end of snakes story and the last MGS game that Hideo Kojima is working on.

FF13: Because it is the PS3's first REAL RPG(but people may be put off after FF12

They all are great contenders to achieve the highest sales, damn there are so may great exclusives coming out next year :)
