Is folklore more of a final fantasy type game, really linear? or is it more like the kotor games with more sidequests, towns, villages to explore? And is the battle like final fantasy, or is it more like kotor or other hybrid rpg games? Any help would be appreiated.
I didn't get to play it for that long, but it is a action adventure RPG. It has Downloadable Content which has extra missions. It isn't really like FF from what I played.
Its a linear action game with some RPG elements. There's a deep and involved story to be had, but don't expect really deep customization...alot of the folks play very similarly to others.
Its not anything like ff. Its like an action rpg, where you utilise the the skills of your creatures to battle and earn more creatures. I suppose in that respect, you could say it has elements of ff12 and pokemon. Its very unique.

IT is a linear action RPG. Beautiful and innovative. Great sotry. Very worth it
