360 version
This has happened to me 2 times , not just on my PS3 but on my 360, first time I was playin gears and it froze up on an autosave. I was usin a memory card (core system) :( and the next time I went to play it said I could only play on the ashes! WTF I was on act 4 now on ACT 1!!! WTF!!! I played oblivion and it didn't have a profile either!!!! LMFAO my memory card got erased? BTW later my Oblivion disc wouldn't work :evil::evil::evil::evil: Am I console cursed?

The same thing happened, but since the PS3 was hooked up to the same power source as the lamp and my mom turned it off when it was frozen... This time it wouldn't recognize the memory card! it said I didn't have a memory unit... Even worse, it wasn't my memory card... I was usin my friends file on OBLIVION. BTW this is pretty much a 1 week old console, nothing broken or anything... Word to the wise... Take more than 20 minutes to set up a 630 dollar system/
