MGS 4 is the only game I like in your list. I hate FPS and I'm not a fan of racing games. I like assassins creed too butof course MGS 4 is a lot better.

and I personally think, anything in life, your first should be a major disappointment so it will lower your expectation so you can enjoy what comes next more.

Viking will do excellent job disappointing you and lower your expectation greatly.

My first ps3 game was Heavenly Sword and that pretty much gives you a does of what the ps3 can do, even has some nice SIXASIX controls in there.

But from your list I'd say MGS4, its one you won't get bored with in along time.

GTA4!!! or Madden 2009! then MGS4

I personally pick MGS4 & Call of Duty 4. I'm not so much of a first person shooter fan but CoD4 is fresh out of the series and the action is intense non-stop from beginning to the end.

MGS4 is basically a sit back and watch a long movie ...and occasionally letting you play part of this "movie" experience."

On your list MGS4.

I would recommend either Uncharted or Warhawk though, both are fantastic.

Replace Assassins Creed with Uncharted. Other than that , you have pretty good taste in games.
