What makes a game good?

Reason why I like DW so much.

There is only one thing that makes a game good. FUN

If your not having fun with a game, it wouldn't be a game. It would be some sort of weird simulation that only the demons of hell are able to produce.... Sorry, I got off track there. I'm just tired from playing GTA all night last night.

In addition to music, yes, these things make a good game. But to me, they are all equally important, so I personally wouldn't number them in terms of importance.

I would have to say though, that story (to me, environment, A.I. and quality of quests/missions are part of the story), characters, gameplay (combat to me is gameplay as well) and music/sound would be my primary focus if I were to make a game. A very close second would be the design and graphics.

That's exactly what I've been saying for a long time. Who cares about review scores, as long as you like the game and have fun, that's all that matters.

I mean, does it matter if your favorite game got .5 points less than you expected? No
