what is the noob way to firing a shotgun?

my girlfriend thinks that aiming down the sights of a shotgun in black ops, & games in general,is the "pro" way & i think it's the noob way. i always fire my shotguns from the hip. which is the real, or "pro" way to fire a shotgun?

There is no noob way, especially with a shotgun. It's already a one shot kill weapon at a close range. I think it'd be more challenging if there was no cross hair.

umm...which ever way u hit better with...go with...there is no way better than the other...ur playin on a console..its aimin for u anyway...sooooooo...my 2cents

Counter Strike didn't have ADS, therefore, hip fire is the pro way :p
