What is the BEST intro to a game, you have ever seen?

Okay, so.. i am wondering what is the best intro you have ever seen?, it can be the starting cut scene, maybe the starting text, anything...

i have to say Super Mario Galaxy, for some reason i really enjoyed the first part of it, it was a short movie, and then you jumped right in to it.

Borderlands, also has an also awesome intro, well that's what i think anyways, i just love the sadness, but also the Badassnes.. eh, of the characters,

I loved the opening of Uncharted 2, it wasn't a cutscene as you were playing as drake throughout, it was more like an interactive cutscene. I loved it because it really gives you the feel of the harsh weather conditions and makes you wonder as to how he got there etc. I also like all the final fantasy opening cutscenes but my favourite has to be final fantasy 13 because it looked absolutely gorgeous on my 42" HD screen!

God of War 3

Fallout 3 (War, War never changes)

I like openings like MGS4. A little cutscene with some story going on and then bam smack dab in the middle of a warzone. It was cool.

I like Red Dead Redemption too....Like MGS4 with the film-like opening.

Heavy Rain

Batman: Arkham Asylum had a great start to it. It was so freaking intense with the Joker mocking you as you wheel him through layers of security, catching glimpses of iconic supervillains from the Batman universe. And then of course, a little game called Bayonetta started with you and a buddy-witch battling giant-assed snakes and angels shooting crazy stuff at you... while decending at a free fall speed on top of a broken clock tower.hazelnutman

oo. ye i forgot about Dragon age... duh i got the game myself, and yes Dragon age had a pretty epic intro.

OH YA uncharted 1, i consider the first couple chapters the opening because your not on the island yet, but even just the opening for the game i effin loved it!!!!

Killzone 1 (loved the speech), FFX and Heist (old PC game, dunno if people have even heard of it :P)

MGS 2 and 4 are epic intros. Killzone 2 is awesome as well

Killzone 2 has that pretty intense speech from Viscari which was pretty damn cool.

Also, the opening cutscene/narration from Prototype was awesome.

Clearly, Bioshock 1 is one of the best openings to any video game and will be forever.

I can never forget, the plane crashing as I swim up to the Lighthouse, and it's all history from there.

God of War III, most epic opening to any game I've ever seen hands down. Second would have to be Bayonetta, the free falling action scene made me look forward to the entire rest of the game.

Bioshock 2 really got me hooked from the intoduction cutscene
