While each person is obviously entitled to their own opinion, I have to agree with OatmealKing. I've been playing UT III on the PS3 sense launch, and while yes, there were some issues at launch, some of which have been fixed with the last patch that was put out by Epic. Now I can't speak to how UT III compares to other UT games and thats because this is the first UT game that I've played. This by far, is the best online FPS (imo) on the PS3 to date. What other online PS3 FPS offer an endless amount of online content. I think I read at one point, that there are currently over 300 + user created mods for the PS3 version of UT III. I currently have mods that will allow me to play as characters from GoW, Crysis, I also have a character mod to play as Spawn. As mentioned earlier, there are even mods that allow you to change the game from a FP point of view to a TP point of view (my personal favorite). There is even a CoD map mod. Basically, if you've seen a level or character from another FPS, someone with the mod tool kit can create it and be ported over to your PS3 copy of UT III.
Someone mentioned that the mods were impossible or difficult to import onto the ps3, this only takes maybe 3 minutes from start to finish. Lag issues result from poor internet connections, so either find a better server or a better internet provider.
