With no HDMI Cable being included in the ps3 Box, do i need a ps3 specific HDMI Cable or will a standard HDMI cable fit? What about a XBox360 HDMI cable??

Sorry for being a noob

Doesn't matter, it's digital so the quality is all the same.

You can buy any HDMI cable (the HDMI to HDMI ones), and if you have already got a 360 you will notice that it doesn't have a HDMI port. The new Mk. II Xbox 360 might though, but that isn't out yet and hasn't been properly confirmed.

This one here should have enough length for most people's setups.

I dont like the 360(ps3 fan) but at the momment it sold more then ps3 and wii combined ps3 has not won yet.sirIreland123
ya know why it sold more then PS3, coz PS3 was only released, and hasnt been released World Wide yet, the 360 is, and isnt doing well, not as well as the PS2, or wii, (but the wii isnt what Id call a competitor, coz ud prob buy both a WIi and PS3, if u want a new pc, u might as well get a PS3 as its cheaper, can do everything a PC does, even more(bluray), keyboard and mice, can install windows on it (:(, not good), built in wireless, but if u have a PC, get PS3 for its exclusive and non exclusive games, along with a WIi if u want, coz the 360 controller really wrecks after a while, while the Playstation controller, just sits in your hand, and will be amazing in years to come, which people do fail to realise, and no, Sony didnt hype up the Cell, I knew about the Cell b4 any advertisments were posted.

Just remember, HDMI is DIGITAL, it either works or it dosn't unlike analog where low quality cables deliver crap quality. Don't fall for some sales guy saying to buy a fancy gold plated $200 HDMI cable, when a $10 cable is just as good.
