the last time I remember a game thatused the 6 axis to its full potential was in Heavenly sword.

what has happened???

it is technology that the Xbox doesn'thave so why not use it to help make you feel more involved in the gaming experience??

Killzone 2 used it nicely. Uncharted 2 used it nicely. Heavy Rain is using it nicely.

Killzone 2 did indeed do it well, setting charges was cool. And I think every game should let you play around with the loading screen. :)

And there's always Flower.

Exactly...it's being used when it suits the gameplay, which is a hell of alot better then every game that comes down the pipe trying to force sixaxis down our throats...

Actually I'm happy they don't focus on it too much and only use it when necessary..forcing it, even when you don't feel it's necessary will only make it come off as dull and boring.

Sony basically provided the final nail in the coffin that Microsoft started with their 3D rumble pad and motocross madness on the PC... the lesson: motion sensing doesn't work with standard controllers.

I did, on my brother's ps3. Sorry, but that thing was so heinously boring, I'm surprised that you'd even consider using it as a selling point.

why do you all sound like you have something against the 6Axis? i mean it isn't suited to all action games like MW but it could be used more in other games like platformers or something. and yes I have heard of flower and I don't think it is really my type of game.

i agree tc. heavenly sword implemented it so well. it really added a lot to the experience and it is still one of my fav games on the ps3. i wish more games would find creative ways to utilize it. the only other games that come to mind are dark sector, killzone2, and the nba2k series lets you shoot free throws that way. gta4 did it terribly though.

and to those of you complaining bout it in certain games, check your options menu. most games allow you to turn off motion control...duh.

i can see why most multi plat games wouldnt get it, but i think the ps3 exclusives should really try to use it more.

My personal favorite use of the sixaxis is Folklore. Second would definitely be Heavenly sword, followed by KZ2. The rest of them, I turn off and don't want any part of.

I'm just glad that most games don't force you play using Sixaxis if you get the choice I always choose to turn it off because most times I think it's annoying. The Analog sticks are always better to use it feels I have better control of the game.

I personally think using the motion controls to reload was pretty awesome.

i was referring more to flying the copter and riding motorcycles.
