What happens if I redownload already installed game on Vita?

For some dumb reason Sony didn't fix this issue and allows us to download the game again even if it's already downloaded.

I swear I think the PS3 use to be something like this too at least with dlc. I think what happens is the new install just overwrites the old.

I think your Vita spontaneously combusts if you try to download a game that's already on it

Well, every time I download a game I already downloaded; it just overwrites the old download. Unless you mean for games you bought on cartridge and try to replace with a download of. Then I think you have to delete the install and then you can download it.

@nepu7supastar7: weirdly handled by Sony. Redownload is a waste of data. I think Vita support ended and they stopped updating these loop holes

I haven't had this happen on Vita, but I do remember the PS3 doing some like this.
