NBA 08 I know is, so thats 2. Will MGS4 be? Will God of War 3 Be, HUmm? Will GT 5 be?, Will Afrika Be, or How about Little Big planet in 1080p? Or Final Fantasy 13? Is Haze 1080p??? Or what about the Sony cam games, those I would do 1080p! And what is Uncharted? Will Home run at 1080p? That one for sure will. Speaking of Home Runs, does MLB run at 1080p. Will Kingdom Hearts 3? Will that even be a game?? lol

Oh and RandC does to? I had no clue, and I own the game :?

For all that I know, Ratchet and Clank (demo), Uncharted (demo) and Assassin's Creed all plays in 720p, while Assassin's is upscaled to 1080p, so no true 1080p.

I know for sure that Skate plays in 1080p and most of the PSN downloadable games.

Because of you I will now quit my job as a Military Adviser for the largest Government Contractor in the world, leave my wife (she must be an idiot) who is the youngest Airport manager for the 3rd largest airline in the US, and sell my house ($485,000), truck ($38,000) and the hot tub I just had put in ($11,000). There is no way Iwill be able to afford all this when I have to quit and go work for McDonalds. Thanks for opening my eyes. Oh, when did I ever ask which format was better? I thought I was just asking what games were in 1080p.

Virtua Tennis is also 1080p. It looks Ok, but there's really not a whole lot going on. It's mostly just large expanses of a single color (clay, grass, court walls, etc...).

I don't think Skate. supports 1080p, and Assassin's Creed definitely doesn't. Still looks pretty good, though. I think the complaints about AC's frame rate are exaggerated.

yeah it us up to the developer, you cant automatically assume because its 1080p its bad. if the devs cut corners, and focused on 1080p it will probably be bad, because there is a lot more to it than resolution (1080 is the resolution, thats all it is, it doesnt necessarily mean "good graphics" either, but its the best resolution). But CoD4 they didn't cut any corners, it runs 60FPS at 1080p, so more devs need to do like IW did

the only current games I own that run in 1080p is NBA 2K8. I believe most sports games will do 1080p. everything else is 720p

Not at all true. Plenty of games that can be upscaled, but I have yet to have seen a game that I think looks better in the upscaled resolution than it does in its native 720p.
