What book or comic should get the video game treatment?

So I was just wondering what some of you have been reading that you thought hey, this could be a cool game.

My favorite novels would have to be the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons. I'm not sure what kind of game it would be or how it would be done, but damn are those books amazing. (Just heard Warner Bros. picked up the rights for a movie. SWEET! Hope they get Guillermo Del Toro)

However I think the novel best suited for a video game would have to be Old Man's War by John Scalzi. Action packed with a ton of unique alien races and a good story. The whole trilogy would kick ass.

I'd also love to see Neil Gaiman's Sandman series be a game, once again I'm not sure what it would be.( The way things are going for Neil Gaiman we'll probably see this as a movie too. I hope.

So anyways let me know what you think, and recommend any good book despite whether or not you think it could be a game.

I dont know if they have done it but a Full Metal Alchemist game would be sweet.bufu21

there are some, even tho they suck.. naruto was the only anime adaptation that ended up well.. oh and dragon ball ofc.

A decent game based on the Hellblazer series would be pretty awesome. I'm still trying to erase the crappy Constantine game from my memory >_>.

Oh and if it does happen, he has to stay Liverpudlian. It just wouldn't be right any other way.

Did they release a constantine game? never heard about it. Well maybe it was for the best I didn't know about it depending on your opinion. Might have bought it

The Xanth novels would make for a great action RPG.

For comics, anything Jim Lee has drawn, assuming he draws for the game.

Yeah, it was based on the film adaption. You would be wise to avoid it...

I'd like to see a good Spawn adaptation using the graphic novels. I dont want to just run around and shoot and once in a while fight a big guy. I want to get to use the various powers and fight multiple villians. Spawn was always my favorite comic book along with X-Men and Alien/Predator comics.HokiePorter

I'd still love to see a great spawn game, do the series some justice.But somehow with so much great material it still manages to produce nothing but garbage, I doubt anyone even has the guts to try another game.Which is a shame since some of the new spawns(hellspawn,Architects of fear,Armageddon)are totally badass. Someone just needs to rework the story.Give it the Dark Knight treatment.

I've heard [but haven't read, yet] a lot about the Planet Hulk series. That'd be pretty good.

And Batman: Arkham Asylum. Wait a minute...........:P

A Flash game would be nice. I wonder if DC Universe will allow us to have that power to be incredibly fast? >_>

I'm sure flash is in that game, though.
