I have to agree, I'm pretty shocked so many people talk bad about it.
I was going to get a system a year ago and everyone told me I should go DS Lite. So, I got it. I really like it, but this year decided I would try the PSP. I've only had it for a few weeks, but I think it rocks. I wanted it mainly for the fact that I don't have an MP3 player and I wanted something that, while compact, would still do everything I wanted. It seemed to have everything I wanted and for a great price too. I'm not big into music, but I like to listen to it when I have the time, so an iPod just didn't seem logical for me. I figure for the price difference, I get something that does everything and I can get tons of accessories.
I love my PSP, wouldn't trade it for anything.
