UFC Undisputed 2010 - a sleeper hit?

some of you might have tried the demo, which is pretty fun and seems to possess quite a bit of depth. I'm not a fan of the sport, neither have i played the first game, but the upcoming installment seems to be worth a look. it's going to be released in another two weeks.

so, will you get it? did you enjoy the first game? do you think the new one will be similarly great?

Initial reviews for the game are coming in, and I'm sure you guys will be thrilled to know that UFC Undisputed 2010 may turn out to be a AAA hit after all. :)

It's coming out one week after Red Dead Redemption but the only sport I watch is martial arts so yes I am interested in this game. I also liked the demo BUT I know 3 things:

1) I get tired of fighting games fast
2) I suck (which leads to 1) )
3) In UFC 2009 online was great fun even though I lost most of the time but it took forever to find a match...

Conclusion: I have quite a list of games to plow through and I also do not have unlimited funds so I will/will not buy UFC 2010.

i only have enough money for ONE NEW GAME and it'll be RED DEAD, if i need UFC, i'll play 09 lol. its almost the same gameplay too, but its not like the sport CHANGED so yeah. so RED DEAD first.

i already have it! hahaha if it makes any difference, i'm a girl and i love the game (and the sport). if you're someone like me bogged down in rpg's, i have ufc to play if my eyes already hurt from too much fast combat. :D

Hell yeah im getting it. I have it pre-ordered and cant wait to get the all the bonus fighters with it. One more week to go. tell then i will just keep playing the demo. Going to be an awesome game.

yup......not a day one for me though.

too me it reminds me of MW2, on the surface its a deeply enjoyable game but the longer you play especially against other people, you will start to witness the broken mechanics, that could be very annoying to play against online.

I didn't get the last installment of the game so I think I'll be getting this one. The demo was really fun.

Bought the first one, really enjoyed it but after a while got sick of it. Think i'll buy the second one and see how it is.

with the whole world getting high on RDR, this game couldn't have picked a worse timing for release. :(

but judging from the previews, the new UFC seems to build strongly on last year's installment. the multiplayer contents seem especially interesting.

I'm probably the biggest MMA fan on these forums, yet I won't even be getting it. UFC Undisputed 2009 sucked. Until they make some drastic changes (confirmed by other people outside of THQ), I will not touch another one of their games.

with RDR drawing all the attention, i doubt many is aware of this - but initial reviews of UFC Undisputed 2010 are GLOWING. yup, that's right, we're looking at what may well be a sleeper AAA hit. :) this is definitely a good news for both the anticipating fans and those who are on the fence.

personally, i think $5 is a very reasonable price to a mildy annoying mechanism. if you're anticipating the game to begin with, i don't think you should stop short at that.

Not getting it, because you'll have to pay extra to play online. I don't wanna support that model. (i was gonna rent it to see if it's worth a buy, now I wont even bother renting it or buying it.gamer082009

no man, you got it wrong. you only have to pay when you wish to play online with a USED copy, and like i said, $5 is very reasonable for that.

It's a pretty awesome and fun game. I think i'll be getting this game but i'm on a low budget atm lol.8)
