well 360 doesn't have as much longetivity compared to ps3 but still abit harsh.

I'm not sure what the problem with the statement is. Kaz basically stated all 3 consoles are in different brackets and have different focus.

It's an odd thing to say but I guess I get where Hirai is coming from. If the 360 is only going to be out 4 years (based on Hirai's statement), that means they'll have another system to follow, so what makes Kaz so certain that machine won't completely destroy the PS3?

I know the PS3 is hard to program for and its greatest strength is yet to be seen, but isn't that irrelevant when the competitor has just released a more powerful, easier to develop for console (an assumption on my part)?

Releasing another console in such a short amount of time is bound to alienate a huge majority of the existing user base. Not to mention the newer, pricier system is going to be pinned against a more established, less expensive competitor in the form of the PS3.
