Things That Sony Should Include In Future Firmware Updates

- Cross game chat

- Internet Apps like youtube, facebook etc

- In-game music no matter what game

- Fully accessable in game xmb

- Friends list manager

- Ability to listen to music on the headset

- Upgrade the browser its almost completely useless

Anything you would like to see?

For my dream firmware update here is what I'd expect;

• In-game music as a operating system feature, meaning every game will support it.
• Being able to access the XMB while surfing the Playstation Store
• being able to listen to music while surfing the Playstation Store
• Password protection for user accounts
• Better theme settings (e.g being able to change the colour of the font in the XMB)
• Checking your profile no longer cuts out the video you're watching (If you can do it in-game, why not during a video that's stored on the XMB?)
• In-Bluray XMB access.
• Friends PSN level/Trophy ammount appear beside their username (So basically not requiring you to access their profile to see those details)
• Option to appear offline (such as you can with Windows Live Messenger)

i want the original plain black xmb that was replaced with this new gold and sparkly one that i can't stand.

...you can select the old Xmb without the sparkles

More than anything I want to be able to edit my XMB lists.
For example: I'd like to remove the PSN Store from my Games row. I don't need it there, it's already on the network row.

firefox would be nice too. i cant even get on youtube without it freezing my fricking console.

• Join game/invite from xmb with game launching, or accept invites from xmb. If accepting invite join into party lobby.
• Cross game chat only available in Single player or from the xmb while in mp. No party chat used in mp games, all chat should be with game channel.
• Build Qoreinto xmb
• Have Netflix built into the xmb
• Have community events built into the xmb and stream any video
• Have more info in the gamer card/ profile/last game played/ last chapter completed/

Cross game chat is a must.....its like Sony shows zero intrest in it....that technology is like 5-6 years old....And people have been talking about it for the ps3 for over 3 years.....
