Well there's Splinter Cell Double Agent. I've never played it, but I hear it's pretty much the same as the older one's, which were always fun.

It's a pretty awesome game, and really inexpensive. Is Dragon Age Origins any good for the PS3?? my PC won't support it so if I were to buy it would be for the PS3. should I just wait for FFXIII or just go ahead and buy DAO, is it that good?
Dragon Age is great on the ps3. Check out the review on this site they did a great review of the game.Is Dragon Age Origins any good for the PS3?? my PC won't support it so if I were to buy it would be for the PS3. should I just wait for FFXIII or just go ahead and buy DAO, is it that good?

[QUOTE="BadLegend"]For Racers what About Motorstorm Pacific rift?canana
Not a bad suggestion, but the game was released in 2008 and it's part of an older recommendations thread. Check the first post please. :)
Anyway, what seems to be the difference between Fallout 3 and Borderands? I did enjoyed Fallout 3 due to FPS elements. Thanks!
Okay then i just thought it was a bit low on racers But You could use Need for Speed Shift :)Its very solid for the PS3. I'd advise looking at some gameplay videos as it is very helpful in deciding whether or not it is a game you can see yourself enjoying...Is Dragon Age Origins any good for the PS3?? my PC won't support it so if I were to buy it would be for the PS3. should I just wait for FFXIII or just go ahead and buy DAO, is it that good?

do i need to buy killzone 1 before killzone 2? or is it fairly easy to pick up the story?starwarsjunkyNo, just read about the story somewhere... you might just get frustrated if you play it now, coz you've been used to good FPS games... during its time, might be tolerable...

They're talking about Killzone 1. Definitely don't bother with it.

Ill be getting a PS3 soon and there is currently a deal of buy a controller and game for $60. The 2 games are Uncharted 1 and Resistance 1. Which game should I get (consider the series too) thanks
Uncharted 1 for sure. It is definitely one of the best games on the system. Although Resistance 1 is definitely a game that should not be missed by a PS3 owner. It is a very good game in its own rightIll be getting a PS3 soon and there is currently a deal of buy a controller and game for $60. The 2 games are Uncharted 1 and Resistance 1. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune... But Resistance: Fall of Man is a good FPS... it has good parts from different FPS games... kinda generic, but in a good way...Ill be getting a PS3 soon and there is currently a deal of buy a controller and game for $60. I'm trying to if i should get Bioshock or Orange Box or Far Cry 2 which is the best in story and gameplay also which is longest?
Wesrcks13
My vote goes to Bioshock, but they are all worthy games. It's fairly long (about 20 hours I wanna say) and has a very unique story and gameplay. If you go in with an open mind (it's not your typical shooter) I think you'll love it. Try the demo.
The Orange Box is going to be the longest (it's multiple games) and it's pretty much a c!assic at this point, but the PS3 port is inferior to PC/360. Still, if PS3 is your only option it's still worth it.
Far Cry 2 will be a pretty long game as well (being open world), and it has been well received, but some people find it a bit repetitive and don't like travelling to missions. Fast respawning enemies are also an annoyance.

i agree... among the 3 games you mentioned, the best gameplay and story goes to Bioshock... Far Cry 2 could be long, but gets quite boring...I dont have one myself but I found some things you should take a look at since your interested in purchasing the eye. Here is a good review of the playstation eye: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSyaj3Ac39w Here is customer reviews of the playstation eye: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16879261091 Basically it looks like a good product and a must have if you want to get the wand when it comes out. Also if you dont already have a good bluetooth headset this would be a great substitute.PS3 eye? i made a post on the previous page earlier today but seemed to have been pushed aside lol

Thanks man it looks pretty cool might go pick it up sometime
Sooo, my PS3 arrived today with Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 1, Valkyrie Chronicles, and Eternal Sonata. :) I had forgotten how good PS3 games looked until I popped in Uncharted 1 today for the first time (and I know that isn't even the best looking game now). For Christmas, I'm pretty sure I'm getting Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Orange Box, and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time.
Is Bioshock worth getting? It's pretty cheap, and I haven't played a really good FPS in a while. I've heard a lot of good things about it (except no multiplayer). Any thoughts?

With the first four you have plus the four at Christmas, you'll have enough games to last you all next year!
Bioshock is a great game, but it's not your typical FPS, so go in with an open mind. For less than $20 it's a steal (if you really need another game :P )
Bump^^ Thats the problems with these forums. U ask a question in a sticky and it gets ignored. Anyways can any one help me?ok im deciding on a game to pick. Either Fallout 3 GOTY edition or Borderlands. Im not a big rpg player, but im looking for a fun worth while game that will give me fun for hours and alot of bang for my buck. If you want more of a shooter (with RPG elements) and have a few friends to play online with, Borderlands would be a good choice.
Fallout 3 is more of an RPG than a shooter. It's lighter on the action and heavier on the story. It's probably the greater game between the two, and if you want a single-player experience, it's the way to go.
lol, yeah true. I might just hold off and finish all of those. :P Thankfully, since I got my PS3 rather "late", a lot of my most anticipated games (MGS4 for example) are already out and cheap. :) And there's quite a few games coming out early next year I gotta get like FF13, but I definitely don't wanna miss out on Bioshock being as it's praised so often. I'm sure it'll still be $20 when I want it later. Thanks! With the first four you have plus the four at Christmas, you'll have enough games to last you all next year!

Anyone ever play Folklore?
neo_starwind
I've played some of it. Game is decent. It's worth a playthrough if you can get it for cheap, but I wouldn't pay 40-50 bucks for it. The presentation is weird during cutscenes. It's like a comic book style, but it just feels weird. Combat is pretty solid though.
Which should I get, Borderlands or Dragon Age? I like Borderlands because of the co-op and such, but Dragon Age seems to be interesting as well. Between these two, which is more fun?ninja_whereDragon Age is more story drivin where as Borderlands is built more on multiplayer. If you like the Co-Op and have people to play it with then pick that up. If your looking for a good single player experience Dragon Age is the way to go.
Thinking abt getting Assains Creed 2. Pros/cons?
Ratchet And Clank ACiT. Pros/Cons?
Nerkle01
Assasins creed Con - Very Repetitive.
