If you have purchased a Ps1 game off of PSN please post a small review or your opinions of the games here. Give a brief description of controls and other important information about the game, and whether or not it was worth the cash. There are alot of these up and for the most part there is no information about any of them in terms of screen shots or how well the psp plays them.

the only ps1 game i have for my psp is the original Crash Bandicoot.

It's a fun game, but gets pretty hard later on. the controls work perfect (use the thumb stick or pad), the sound is right on. No issues with the emulation that i can see. The only part about the game that isnt that great is the difficulty (gets frustratingly hard) and the bad save feature. You rarely get to save, so you do levels over and over again.

overall i'd say its worth the $, but dont be surprised if you never beat it.

FF VII

FF VII on the go, something I could've only dreamed about when I first played this game back when I was like 8 playing this game. Everything works great for it, I have no problems and it's FF VII so I don't need to write a review because it is just an awesome game and everybody already knows that.

I only have a go, so the available games aren't plentiful for psp games just yet so I have more ps1 games.

I have Final Fantasy Tactics - Amazing.

Will be getting FF 7 and 8. waiting on 9.. hope to get that one first.. if it ever comes out.

I have Crash 1, planning on getting them all.

And will get Metal Gear Solid too!

Nope, but most of us are waiting for it to be released as you could imagine it will be on PSN at some point.

Someone around here told me it wasn't even released in Japan yet, but that was a bit ago. So it may be awhile.

Is the ps1 Spider-man game on there? I have fond memories of playing it, the first Spidey game I ever played, and would love to play it again.

The first two Spyro games play really well and look quite nice on the PSP, IMO. I can definitely recommend both of those pretty strongly. On the other hand, while I loved the Syphon Filter PS1 games, I don't feel like the controls transitioned very well to the PSP.

I have wanted a PSone classic for a long time but never got around to buying it. But within this last month I finally purchased for my PSP Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. They are both still extremly good games, even after their time. I highly recommend them, at the low price of $9.99 each.

What are you, daft? Look at old GameSpot reviews.
