Hi guys, I have a PS4 Slim on a stool in front of a closet that has my subwoofer on it. if I turn the volume up I can feel it vibrate through my PS4, is this harmful? I don't have any space in my small room (I live with my parents) to put things differently. I also put anti-vibration pads under my PS4.

You'll have to move the PS4, or turn down the bass. You could even move the PS4 and put it on the floor while playing then move it back once you're done.

The subwoofer vibration will not cause any problem as long as the discs in the drive are not skipping. Even still, I don't believe it would cause scratches.

Test it!

I would consider moving the PS4, I doubt high vibrations to the system will do it any good

I suppose, up to you, but most disc drives have a built in anti-vibration anti-skip feature.

@npiet1: how is putting it on the floor better? The vibrations are worse on the floor than on the stool my ps4 is on..

I can't move my ps4 further away and I would rather not put the volume really low lol

Maybe it's broken, my ps4 doesn't vibrate.

I have my PS4 Pro in a cabinet on the bottom shelf (which is basically the floor) with two large floor standing speakers and a subwoofer around it within 4 feet of the PS4.

No problems here!
