Still enjoying Uncharted 2, would it be worth it to get 3?

I bought the uncharted pack over the holidays and I have finished the single player for both games recently.I'm currently enjoying the multiplayer for uncharted 2 as there are still a good amount of people online. I would like to play uncharted 3 eventually, but I had doubts about buying it now at its current price due to comments about unbalanced multiplayer, weaker storyline and overall less of an experience than uncharted 2. So I was wondering if it's worth getting it now or waiting for a price drop (maybe even a game of the year edition later this year).

Suggestions anyone?

Don't pay anymore than $30 for it. It's a cool game but dont go into it expecting more of Uncharted 2. Uncharted 3 is more of an interactive movie, very slow pacing and it picks up steam around chapter 12 or 60% into it. The co-op is pretty cool though.

story and campaign wise, Uncharted 2 blows Uncharted 3 right out of the water, but the multiplayer in UC3 is better

Ohhh come on, U3 is a little better than U2, single and multiplayer wise !!!

Uncharted 3 definitly isn't nearly as entertaining playing the first time through like UC2. I found quite a few of the gunfights in UC3 to be extremely annoying and unenjoyable to the point where I stopped playing for a few weeks and then finished it later. The last couple of chapters make up for a lot too. Its worth it in the long run though, I started playing again and it seemed more fun.

i am enjoying the hell out of uc3 i recommend buying it. The only problem i have with it is the fact there is no elimination. Also the they got rid off just singular objective games and lumped them all together i think they did this since in uc2 you could level up easy playing chain reaction with deposit on and if they ran extra xp you could level up super fast

Of course it's worth getting! Uncharted 3 is one of the best games I've ever played, you'd be missing out on an incredible experience by not playing it!

Yes, get it. Absolutely get it. Maybe it's not worth $60, but few games are, which is why I almost never pay $60 for a game (actually I think the last game I actually payed a full $60 for was GTA4). Personally for 'Uncharted 3' I traded in an PS2 and some games that hadn't been hooked up in years and ended up getting UC3 for $20.

i'd buy it if i were you. the people saying it was a let down are comparing it to uncharted two; let's be honest, how many games out there are better than uncharted 2. i don't have it (backlog), but the multiplayer was better than u2's. u2 multiplayer was a mess to me. it was just grenade spamming or power weapon whoring. u3 seems to be balanced and more gun on gun fun.

U3 is a great game, a deffiniate must play but I enjoyed the single played a lot more in U2. I havent played too much from the mp except from the beta and some online matches when I got the game but at this point I like the mp better in U2. Its not bad in U3 but its just different and I prefer the style U2 has.
