I have both games just because I love the series, but you can get both these games at Amazon for less then $29.99 each. I would recommend getting two over one just because it has more to offer.

Or if you live in Canada, you could pick up First Departure at The Source Circuit City for $10! And if you're lucky, price match at Best Buy or Future Shop for $7!

I like first departure a lot more. The characters in second weren't so likeable especially Claude. I couldn't take Claude seriously at all and I don't see anything great about Rena. In first departure Roddick was more likable and Claude's mom is hot 8)
