Sony reveals new Playstation Store

October 17 in Europe, and October 23 in North America

According to VG247, there will be a new, smarter search feature, one that will recognize and fix spelling mistakes, as well as add further filters to help users really narrow down their content. PS Vita/PSP content has also been separated from PS3 content, to help browsers get what they want more swiftly.

I like it. Now if only they could make the XMB look something like this. Maybe on the PS4.

I don't really have much to complain about with the current PS Store outside of not existent ability to search for the content I already downloaded. I have over 470 download files and I have to scroll for minutes to get what I need.

That's about it however.

I look forward to trying the new layout, it looks pleasant from screenshots alone.

Looks like the interface that MS prefers, its a good thing though :)
