There are some threads about collections here and there, but not really a lot with pictures. I like LOOKING at people's collection, so guys, post yours if you're up to it. Doesn't matter if you only have 3 games or whatever, it's the fun in sharing that counts.

You can notice a lot of older games I have, because I own the ps3 for about a year now and wanted to play the games I missed out on and what seemed like fun.

So, who's next?

Keeping your games is the point of having a collection. And what do you mean '2 copies of assassins creed'? I have four in total, all the AC games that came out. Holy fvuk!! Do/did you guys really play "all" those games? I mean WOW:o!!! That's a sh**load of games. Anyways here's mine. Got some PS2/GC/PS1 games as a bundle when I re-purchased a PS2 on ebay. Never played those ps2/gcn games. 60% steam games unplayed. LOL. BFBC2 is Bad Company 2. Games that didn't make the list but owned: (PC) Witcher 2, Company of Heroes 2, No One Lives Forever 2, Mass Effect, I am Alive (PS3) RE4 HD, Infamous (PSN) Dead Nation (PS1/digital) Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Street Fighter Alpha, Resident Evil 3.

Repeat MGS and FFIX are from bundle as well. And I still think its ridiculous for me to install THREE seperate programs Uplay, Steam, AND Origin just to play a damn game.

I've got about 50 PS3 games right now. Traded tons in... probably owned about 80 total. Just gave away Far Cry 3 to my cousin today because I finished it a while ago and I thought he'd enjoy it.

I can understand why. Nobody has that much time to play all those games. Although it's a nice collection, don't you feel bad spending all that money when you're pretty sure you aren't going to play it anyway? I used to spend lots of money too, just for the sake of having them simply for my collection, but then I realized I didn't even play or like them.

I feel bad and not, sure it's a lot of money (Exactly 5149.50$ spend for 447 games, I didn't show my ps2 sealed games...).

And I must admit, I'm not playing as much as I use to play. Probably few hours a week. But it's like collecting sports card or else,

Within the ps2 era, I've seen so much factory seal games selling on ebay at ridiculous price that I feel that if I'm starting a collection of unsealed games, it could worth a lot more that I've paid before.

As an example, I've bought 10 units of Buzz quiz TV bundle for 10$ each brand new at Walmart 2 years ago (What I've call at that time a long shot, I knew I could make a few bucks of them, but didn't know at this it would give back so much...). I've sold 7 of them at 150$/each a year after...Still keeping 1 for my collection, 2 for later if price is increasing...

So it's a kind of investment, I still don't know how much it will worth, but maybe in ten year, it will worth the investment if I have spot the right games to keep unsealed and mint.

For Lair and Rayman...Lair is one sealed and one unseal...Which worth nothing more than the case for me...Normally I'm playing on one, and try to get one unseal (For that one, I've paid 4,99$ at Best buy...). Rayman, I've bought 5 of them at 4,99$ at toy's for Us and I've sold back 2 at 19,99$ on ebay. Small profit here, but, this kind of buy is a guess game, I don't think Rayman will get so much price increase, even after 10 years after all....So bad move on Rayman...

But...There's good guess and bad guess...I'm happy about my 2 Ninja Gaiden Sigma collector edition unsealed and 3 AC Limited edition unsealed...

I used to. But I found when I did that I would not play the games, as I couldn't decide which to play. Now I keep them in the order I bought them, so I know which one is up next on the docket. I am able to rattle off much more of my backlog this way.

Not pictured is Uncharted 1 (on loan at the moment), and older stuff in storage (Dreamcast, N64, SNES, NES).

I have most of my stuff packed up because I should be moving soon, I might be able to find some old pictures though

That's some of my games on the right. That should cover my N64, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, Sega CD, Xbox, Playstation, and DS games. I had my 360, PS3, Wii, Gamecube, PC, PS2, PSP, VITA, GBC, and GBA games somewhere else. That's only about half my special editions on the left, the rest were stacked on a bookshelf where I kept the smaller ones. I have my entire collection listed on my Backloggery, the bottom image in my signature links to it.

No. You are supposed to put the games in order of the genre.

Are you having trouble me playing it on the ps3 or having those games at all? Because playing them on the ps3 (also have all the sims games for ps2) isn't a big deal, the controls are very easy and it doesn't have a particularly steep learning curve.

Bumping in hope of more pics of collections

Meager collection of games, I used to have a collection about 25 games bigger or so but I ended up giving my old PS3 and games to a friend who needed some happiness in his life. I've played pretty much all the big ones like MGS4, inFamous, Heavy Rain, etc ;p
Multiplats go on PC, PS3 is pretty much used solely for exclusives, multiplats that don't hit PC and PS2/PS1 games.
