I have Panasonice 3D blu-ray player that I bought a few day before my PS3. Needless to say I have never used it. The only reason I can think of to keep is that it can play MKV. files and my PS3 can't. Any other reason I might want hold on to it?

I have a PS3, but would rather use my Blu-ray player because it's completely silent, unlike my PS3. Lost-to-Apathy
I have not played a movie in either drive yet so I can't make comparison on that. Just seems like a waste to spend $120 on a player I have never used. I'll probably keep it though.

The general noise of the PS3 bothers me enough while watching films that it made me buy a Blu-ray player. Maybe it will bother you as well.[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"][QUOTE="Lost-to-Apathy"]I have a PS3, but would rather use my Blu-ray player because it's completely silent, unlike my PS3. Lost-to-Apathy

Nope.[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"][QUOTE="Lost-to-Apathy"] The general noise of the PS3 bothers me enough while watching films that it made me buy a Blu-ray player. Maybe it will bother you as well. Lost-to-Apathy

Nope.OK. I have Slim so maybe they run a bit quieter.
I don't see the point in keeping it if you don't have another room to put it in. I have a slim and it's very quite when I watch blu rays on it.
well, if it was me and i didnt need the mony, id keep it and use it for the bluray movies.less wear and tear on your ps3.plus it might come in handy if your ps3 was to break that way you could still watch you bluray movies. of course if you could sell the player for near what u have in it then you could always use the cash for more games ect. kinda got to figure it out for your self.
