Rumors of a Ps4?

Ive heard rumors of a Ps4, but I highly belive there true. My Friend mentioned to me that He had seen a Playstation Commerical, with No mentioning of a Ps3, or PSP/PSP GO!Someone please tell me theses rumors are fake. And give Me evidence so I can prove my friend wrong. Oh and I have searched on youtube and google, and Ihave seen no Footage of Ps4 whatsoever So These Rumors are most likely fake.

i mean how does he know a ps4 is even being devopled, and its going to take a approximently 2-3 years?..

ideas for a ps4 are being developed as we speak. im 100% sure of that. but before that, we will see a HHD only version of the ps3 with down loadable games like the psp.

If you were to ask me, I think even 2012 is still too early for a ps4.

PS4 won't be seen until 2013 or 2014 and the reason is the current consoles (except for wii) have hardware that is pretty advanced and the companies aren't making that great of a profit off of them just yet so expect a couple more years until the PS4 comes out.

Well, I took into account that since the playstation is so "costly" to develope for and the fact that sony is losing money on each playstation and also the fact that most ifnot all of the world is in an economic downturn, i just find it hard to believe that sony will push out a console by 2012 unless things turn around. Talk about logic ehh....

Sony announced they will be doing up to at least PS6! That's great news.
