RE5. DMC4 is mediocre and ancient gameplay. i don't think it will get a high score.furtherfan
Tell me, what is so "ancient" about DMC gameplay? Really enlighten me.
Resident Evil offers horror, bloody and violent gameplay with a couple of good guns and killing of zombies. The graphics are better and so may be the story. Meanwhile, Devil May Cry has some intense, fact paced, bloody not really violent because their demons gameplay while graphics are not Square Enix and all but decent enough. So who comes out on top, for a person whos life maybe games they may say Resident Evil but for me Devil May Cry offers non stop action fast paced gameplay and the cut scenes are coool. In the end Devil May Cry is better.
Do people still think RE is scary? I remember when i was a kid when the first one came out, those dogs jumping through the window... Man, scary stuff. But Still? Because the atmosphere, I feel, isn't there anymore. You got like, a merchant! What is up with that? RE one was about isolation for me, at least to some extent. On your own you where pretty weak. to a degree that was due to the controls, wich where improved in RE 4. Then you'd meet up with someone is this ridiculously large mansion and think "thank god im finally with someone" even though you knew you'd have to split up as soon as that cut-scene was over. RE4 took that away also, instead you have to babysit that pice of jail-bait, which to me felt more of a burden than a challenge, especially since you learned nothing of her, you you (at least I) didn't feel for her, she was mearly cargo which was to be delivered.Hoffman-Hansen
Agree I dont think RE4 is scary. Also I thought the way the controls were in the past RE games is what made it a bit scary because you wasnt able to see the real zombies around the corner. That is why I'm hoping RE5 will be much scarier than RE4.
