Question about Blur

I read this game also has combat arenas like good old Mario Kart had bak on the SNES in the GameSpot Review.

My question is: Are they also accessible in Offline-Multiplayer and if yes, with how many people can you play them? 2 or 4?

Would have asked on the Blur Board, but that one's pretty dead.

yes u can play 4 player splitscreen... action racing to the derby everything... me and friends play it all the time it's too awesome!

Yes it is 4-player offline splitscreen but its no where near as good as mario kart battle or CTR battle.

Does the game have bots for offline play too? Or nothing like that? Also is the online community (PS3 of course) still active?tommyas

Well, offline splitscreen varied modes and bots for offline too....what else could I be asking for? Not that interested in the MP anyways. Thanks for the intel guys :)
